Litecoin already had a pretty long bull run during last few months. I think current price is fair enough considering the upcoming events.
But now it's probably a good time to pick up other alts from top10 cmc which were falling all this time.

for today it is a price, which has formed to the corresponding situation. we have it. we need to accept it. but, I think, that in a few weeks we will see a more pleasant situation. changes occur every day in the cryptocurrency space.

LTC is very consistent from last few months and it looking in current year it moving forward with more strong support so this is good sign which could make easy to get stable on a new floor. LTC is still in good demand and more merchants are showing interest to accept this.

Clueless!
Litecoin is on fire, up +14% in the last few hours :O

Just an FYI, it has to beat $94.65 when I got LTC at the last high for the other half of my 'moon/hodl" buys of say half a month ago. This price is 50% of my

last buy. (and to think at one time I had 12,695 LTC (all before the price was below $3 for years). Converted all to BTC. So a least I have now 347 LTC now

as a compensation right? I should be fine right? (sob!)

This was discussed a thousand times. If quantum computers are ready to crack today's encryption algorithms, then everyone and everything in the digitalization world has a problem, not just crypto currencies. Until then, there will be suitable quantum-resistent algorithms, which will then be implemented in the software. So, no need to worry.
When quantum computers appear, we will know what will consequently happen with human civilization and digital world. For now, let's enjoy and use amazing and convenient services from Blockchain technology. We should not seriously think of quantum computers too much when it is just appear in theory for now. When it appear, it means technology will move to higher levels than we have now, so on that day, human civilization might have something stronger and better than current cryptography. That's all a story of far future.
As for quantum computer, I think it will be invented much earlier than you think .. technologies are very quickly improved, if you look at the evolution of a mobile phone - gadgets that we have now - 15 years ago, no one could predict this progress. I think that a quantum computer can be invented in the next 10 years, but you are right - now there is no sense in predicting what will happen.
i think quantum computer is exists right now and working great i have seen a video on youtube check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60OkanvToFI
well right now my attention is on crypto market. i thought crypto will stay down in 2019 year but its growing fast in mid of 2019. looks somthing big in crypto market is coming.

When quantum computers come out, will our current cryptocurrency be safe? The possibility of being stolen is not bigger! Smiley

According to my antivirus software latest release of litecoin core 0.17.1 @litecoin.org is infected by trojan!

I am going to install..before I do...to compare..what software are you using?

I'm using Avast Pro...anyway, we will see how that acts as I install and probably won't know till i updates for the last month

will let folk know on here if it is good to go or not with Avast Pro.

In the cryptoworld, security should come first, this is a hotbed for various hackers, and unfortunately no one can know for sure that he is protected 100%. If the anti-virus system identified a trojan, I would then reinstall the operating system.

I believe it is a standard for anti-virus, not all, but most of the wallets that I try to install Kaspersky says are viruses, trojans, it detects viruses even in wallets that I had already installed and Avast (I used previously), did not recognize as such.

I see...well good to know...never have any problems with Avast Pro! so will just stick with it.
