Litecoin halved production in August this year
And Charlie Lee starts talking about the potential of Litecoin to go $1000 after the said event.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/05/05/will-litecoin-ltc-rally-to-1000-after-august-2019-halving/

Is he going to have accurate words again just like what he said before when he warned the public about taking up risk of potential 90% loss?

Farewell o_e_l_e_o
Anyway, again, nothing on the horizon as far as I can see for ASIC's of any crypto flavor that is worth buying vs hodl'ing crypto and or LTC.
Hah, it is interesting comparison and point of view. I agreed with you at this, investing and holding crypto (altcoins) now is much more profitable than investing into mining machines and spending money to mine crypto. However, if everyone do this, who will confirm transactions for crypto enthusiasts? It is the big question, so it means that mining actually profitable. It is just not profitable in short term, but in long term, miners whom mining crypto now and hold (yes HOLD) will get profits later. It is only right if they can prepay their electricity bills with their own money in order to hold all coins they get from mining at the moment.

Clueless!
Was trying to figure out what I would need for my L3+'s to be turned back on for an LTC price, assuming another STATIC difficulty top if such a price would come to pass.

My figure is we would need (with again Summer Electric rates in my case 14c kWh and accounting for again saying the same difficulty at current rates... as foo...er I mean miners like myself turned their own, say, Bitmain L3+'s and etc back on) I figure we need a $150 LTC price and I'd make below at 14c kWh Summer rates for 1 Bitmain L3+ of WTF $18.44

Again, at 'sigh' current difficulty as it is now (unlikely)

                           Profitability Analysis
   Expected Rewards   Costs   Net Profit
24 hours   0.02201871 LTC   3.30 USD   2.69 USD   0.61 USD
7 days   0.15413098 LTC   23.12 USD   18.82 USD   4.30 USD
30 days   0.66056133 LTC   99.08 USD   80.64 USD   18.44 USD

Anyway, again, nothing on the horizon as far as I can see for ASIC's of any crypto flavor that is worth buying vs hodl'ing crypto and or LTC.

(I feel like a groupie that misses the "old days" on the bus and traveling for the concerts of Blue Man Group days..sigh) Sad

I think we all should be paying attention again to Litecoin to see where the 2nd quarter of the year will take us since Litecoin seems to be a great leading indicator.

Basically we failed to break the important $100 level and had a huge pullback. Most of the other alts like ETH and BCH also suffered these pullbacks. However LTCUSD is still in a bull flag formation and if $67 was indeed the low then I can see $100 get tested at least once again and hopefully breaking thru it with conviction. Then we might see ETH at $200 and BTC at $6000.

The main issue is how much the news will influence the market too... I see right now that this market is becoming similar to the trading so any bad info will push the market down... and from some analysis, I was reading, bad news has a higher impact that good news.
market is changing rapidly and BTC dominance is increasing right now BTC dominance is more then 55% according to coinmarketcap. i am seeing that altcoin market is again going down but btc is stable near 6000$. BTC marketcap is abouve 100 billion now, i never imagine that btc will make it that quick. litecoin price prediction and from analysis litecoin price chart it seems price could go above 100$ in this month. its just only my analysis.

xUSD - The PRIVATE stable coin - Haven Protocol
Litecoin could face a major correction, will the $63 support level hold the price above it?

https://coincodex.com/article/3483/litecoin-price-analysis-can-we-expect-ltc-to-correct-to-48/

Correction is much needed at this stage while Litecoin is moving ahead in upward direction. There are so many indicators who are predicting there will be little pull back and this could make this rally more healthy than before but chances are pretty low to pick more at low price.

The correction will be minor, due to the announced halving in August
cause, almost every day new machines are plugged in and mining LTC, and the hashrate is growing quickly, so, the ecosystem will remain alive only with a nice price grow, right after the halving, but not with a big correction before it

Litecoin performed impressively in the past few months, will the price bounce back at new highs if the support level of $60 will be reached?

Clueless!
A question on LTC mining. (I'm out as of now..just curious).

Bitmain has a deal I heard of $80 million dollars of equipment with Utility Swap for excess Hydro Power above and beyond use (wasted) with various

China Utils in a 50/50 swap of some sort for essentially free electric for 1/2 the mining on equipment already owned. (I'd like that deal).

https://www.coindesk.com/bitmain-bitcoin-mining-farms-antminer

Anyway, has anyone heard if Bitmain is doing the same in mass with LTC mining, or is this all or mostly just BTC as a purely, summer operation for 4 months or so

till the expected excess hydro from excessive rainfall in China is burned up?

Folk have said from the BTC mining side they expect a jump in difficulty over the summer due to the above of at least 33% if not more...before Bitmain's

past equipment (BTC) is no longer profitable even for them. The last hurrah as it were...just wondering if we needed to watch our back on LTC mining as well

with the above and are included in such a cluster of 33% rise in difficulty for LTC as well.

later

edit: according to the article above it was like 7.9% increase for Bitmain doing BTC..but other sources I've heard said closer to 33% if they take off

from the BCH network. We will see. Damn, a 33% difficulty in LTC would really suck...even a 5-10% would suck for the age of scrypt-pow miners out there

in the world, even figuring they have already paid for themselves (mostly Bitmain L3's and L3+'s I'd assume)

Chinese Curse: May you live in interesting times. Smiley

Lot has changed since the start of the year as we can see these dips are not effective anymore. They have slight impact which is vanished within hours and higher lows are being established. While many are distracted by price actions, development in market is also happening silently. TDameritrade hinted what is coming and people will feel lucky for buying at these ranges.

Correction is normal thing, after Litecoin went long journey from .008x BTC to current price above 0.013 BTC per one Litecoin. It is normal with corrections of Bitcoin to come soon. $63 is your prediction on price of Litecoin with it's corrections, and I agreed that the coin might be dumped to around that price.
you think that litecoin price is corrected now or still correction is going on? by my point of view that litecoin price is okay. so many news that impact on crypto negative. above 70$ price of litecoin is reasonable price for now in this current market condition.

i think, even though most markets are in freefall, $ 70 area is the best point to stay there.
