Mate not so fast but we will see in future but nobody predict about crypto prices, if we think right time to invest then buy and HODL,
As we are seeing that we have not face red market but stable, we can expect prices will skyrocket very soon, currently LTC trading at $75.

In current scenario it is not possible to see this kind of spike in short time of period for this the whole market have to move into positive direction like the last bull run. I also believe one day it will happen when we will see this but only for long term holding.

I like lightcoin. The transfer fee is not large. And the coin is very promising. If you take on long-term, you can make good money. And you can also earn money on price fluctuations. Great project
Fee of transferring litecoin is too low than bitcoin and few other coin. "lightcoin" you write it do you mean something difference of litecoin or it is just a type error. There is much possibility that it is a typo error.

It is my first time to heard about Lightcoin.  Huh

20% profit isn't much in the crypto scene. This can be achieved with other coins within a day if you are well informed about news. It would look different, if the price rises $200 or higher, of which I am convinced in the medium and long term. LTC is a good investment though.
In crypto, earning more than 50 percent of profits per day is very popular, as well as losing more than 50 percent of capital per day. Choosing good coins, and at the right time will help crypto investors to earn massive profits in short-term. In contrast, wrong choices at wrong time will lead to dramatical losses.

Many folks will say in future I should grabbed few LTC at $80 when LTC will cross the $100 line and we will see very soon.
Anyway this is a market, up and down part of this market, if we can afford loss then invest otherwise stay away.  Roll Eyes

found this miner review on eastshore...unsure on if this is new or last year...I was hardly impressed if this is a pre-order
the date of the www.eastshore.xyz review was 2/20/19

https://www.eastshore.xyz/in-depth-evaluation-on-dismantling-of-goldshell-x5-litecoin-miner/

reviewed by www.eastshore.xyz but not sold by them

$1642 USD (plus China tariff of 25% and shipping and import fees about 2.5% I think..and again shipping) ouch!

1730mh at 2000 watts

www.litecoinpool.org/calc the litecoinpool calculator at

10c kWh and $81.39 coin give below

Profitability Analysis

   Expected Rewards   Costs   Net Profit
24 hours   0.07519854 LTC   6.12 USD   4.80 USD   1.32 USD
7 days   0.52638977 LTC   42.84 USD   33.60 USD   9.24 USD
30 days   2.25595615 LTC   183.61 USD   144.00 USD   39.61 USD

big whoop...$40 a month profit...joke city

just an FYI of crap that may be legit out there but makes zero sense

I think this is appropriate for the LTC thread in that it shows (if this is new equip) just how far behind the 'eight-ball'

everything is on miner equipment for LTC (even without the 25% tariff and the shipping and the import fees as the USA example)

ugly, ugly, ugly.

It will take more than a year to take capital. It will not helpful for miner. Mining fee is not too much as the price of the miner.

nothing wrong with holding a bag of LTC, ETH , XMR , DOGE

it will be crucial to have a bag to profit from adoption in the future.
Maybe litecoin will absorb Grins Glory with implementing the Tech this early on too.
think its a decent bet.

Who told you wrong to hold LTC, ETH , XMR , DOGE?

I didn't see any valid reason to stay under crappy BCH it should be go back to take its position on 4th place. LTC has more better use case and more strong support with its original concept instead of stealing the hype of BTC or making confuse the new people.

That I think is a unique and elegant feature of Litecoin which seems to attract more and more supporters consistently. And yes, a strong sense of originality would make LTC more orderly, thus gaining the trust of investors and supporters alike.

Well, I'm considering blowing up to 2.85 BTC into LTC (some of this amount is from dust alt coins) Anyway, what do folk think?

It is from the 'windfall' previous for 2 months last year 'doorstops' that Obelisk SC-1 miners were before they forked their coin...

mined some SC coin and then 'punted' and sold the equipment with sc coin and above other dust coins is how I got the 2.85 btc

This is my LAST HURRAH, IMHO, due to I'm out of crypto mining of any kind, at this point in time and am in full HODL mode of BTC and LTC

and a few other altcoins of a dubious nature.

So what do folk think? About LTC?

The reasons I am considering this instead of more BTC is:

1) The halving coming up in 107 days. https://www.litecoinblockhalf.com/

2) Mimblewimble. https://www.asiacryptotoday.com/litecoin-ltc-plans-move-to-mimblewimble/

Thus making Anon and Fungible Transactions.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fungibility

Which from what I understand BTC has found to 'controversial', or so in the past, to implement.

3) The fact that LTC Devs have the guts to go against the main Bitcoin Core viewpoint above and do Mimblewimble anyway but keep the regular BTC core upgrade
path is also the other reason. Following BTC updates are fine, but IMHO, LTC needs to show some innovation on its own, just not all BTC upgrades as a path all the time.

4) BCH and BSV. I mean really? If they can be price wise in the $300's (BCH) or hell even Craig Wright 'scam coin' in the $50's. Well hell, LTC should pop in that area someday
    you would think?

Anyway, my thoughts on this. Again, the last of my mining hoard I'm willing to invest.

Chump or Champ. We will be the first to know I guess.

I have always owned the LTC and the IFC, and their algorithms are the same. The IFC is very fast, but now it seems that many people forget him.Do any of you remember?
I have 20 Litecoin and I will hold it until it reach 7k dollars for 20 litecoin. I am holding that on binance. Or I will sell on btc market when it will reach 0.04BTC per litecoin.

I'm feeling like an idiot of not purchasing Litecoin during the dips.
Lot of us "waited for $10"...  Undecided
Past is past and we just have to move on.

I have been blaming myself of not catching it on $30.  Undecided

Yes, you are right without taking chances it is impossible for us to make money, even we lose value we have to wait for the market recovery because we cannot sell them for loos. Many people grabbed LTC when the price went very low in the market because we already know how potential LTC is going once the market starts recovering.
