I think adding PoW (proof of work) would also be a good thing to add.
It will help keep the chain moving and attract miners.

Once things take off and are stable for a while (a year or two ??) PoW can be phased out again - or not.

so looking through the LitecoinPlus code, turns out the wallet only stakes at 1%

Code:

static const int64 MAX_MINT_PROOF_OF_STAKE = 0.01 * COIN; // 15% annual interest

Looking at the remark after the // I'm thinking they meant 15% (.15) but messed up and coded it to 1% (.01)

rush (rushmybitcoin) thinks it would be a good idea to correct this, and change it to 20%, plus change max coins to 4 million -

Any thoughts ?

added staking icon.
It's not very accurate at guessing when you will stake - but at least it does indicate if you are staking or not Grin

boot strap is a good idea, but not high on the list of things to do.

It doesn't take long to sync - but it does stop several times and you have to close and open the wallet.
There is only around 200000 blocks so far.

Must be very boring waiting for him
Added work on opening and closing wallets,

For now, it's just one step at a time. Build the network up by promotions/advertisements ??
Get listed on exchanges.

updated the wallet a bit.
changed the xlc to lcp (makes more sense anyway)
added link to logo - click on it and it will open a browser window to the web site
enabled dns seeding - don't have to rely on irc to connect

still has more to do ...
