Hi Delphinus, indeed users will be able to invest in it soon but in its current form it's meant for information purposes only. Regarding your question about LKK, the index was created to cover the cryptocurrency market, stable coins for example are excluded but also any security tokens representing equity like LKK.

As a personal note, at this moment there are only a handful of these (there's quite a few of stable coins already though). But in the future as security tokens become more common and the line between equity and crypto markets gets blurred, I'm sure a new discussion will emerge on what really constitutes the "crypto market".

When will we be able to buy LyCi via the app? And perhaps it's a good idea to hold LKK as well (maybe 1-2%) since I assume you're confident in your own product as well?

Excellent idea though! I'm using Iconomi currently, but Lykke would be a lot more reliable.

This index has long been time to enter. For large investors, this is a very hot topic to use. I hope that they will be able to make normal liquidity so that there are no sudden movements. All the same, this world is a little different from large stocks where if there is a rise and fall, then this is usually a couple of percent.

Hi kronos123, indeed is a recurring but important question. This is not a decision from Lykke's team but rather as explained before a consequence of LKK being considered a security. No crypto exchange that I know of is licensed to list securities (a lot of them can't even deal with fiat). Recently Kraken has delisted Iconomi as they are undergoing a token swap apparently (the new tokens represent true equity in the company from what I understand) which is a similar situation. This could be interesting to follow and see how it develops.

As you said it will be very beneficial from a marketing point of view to be listed in other exchanges because of the exposure alone. Regulations are becoming clearer globally and while many predicted 2019 would be the year of security tokens but things moved quite slowly as we are close to the end of the year. There were some interesting acquisitions and move towards this from big actors so I'm hopeful this will be a reality soon, not only because how it could affect LKK as an asset since I'm not here to speculate on that but because tokenized equity is definitely a huge addition to the industry and certainly take it to another level.
