I want to trade BTC for LKK, but when I input an amount above 9, the Submit-Button is not blue anymore and cannot be selected. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Hi gamer455, you would have to buy at market price since spot/order book are not yet available. Should be implemented along with margin trading by next month.

I have no problem with buying it at market price, but often it is not possible and the Confirm Button is not available. Does not mean that nobody wants to sell LKK?  Thank you Smiley

Somebody else had the same problem today and some others said the App would lag. So, nothing what you would do wrong here. I got message that the Dev-team is investigating and hopefully fixing this soon. Maybe you could already try again, and hopefully it already works?

In the end, everything worked out just fine Smiley Now I am a proud owner of 347 shares

Tried to download apple app but got stuck when asking for phone number. Im from the US but its now accepting the numbers i put in. What is the format? Thank you.

Hey nspire210, sadly Lykke is not available in certain regions yet (US, Australia, Japan among others), I think this might be the issue. Lykke is currently working on getting the proper licenses so should be only temporary.

Lykke was a very big project from the start and I'm happy I started to buy early.

I just tried to make a test sale, and I can only sell to market, I can not introduce new orders.

It's my first test, I do not know if this has always happened.

Yes, that is correct. Limit orders are not possible yet - but hopefully soon.

Another reason Lykke and other exchanges are starting to look more appealing minute by minute:
https://coinidol.com/suspicion-of-insider-trading-at-poloniex/

On April 18, 2017, Poloniex published an announcement that it is going to delist 17 altcoins. However, there are signs that someone knew about Poloniex’s decision to remove some altcoins before the official announcement on Twitter.

So Lykke acts as an exchange/wallet. What are the benefits of owning Lykke coins though, apart from having a "share" of Lykke?

Very interested by this.

Nr 1 purpose of LKK is of course that it represents ownership and the price will reflect the progress and hopefully success of Lykke. If you compare it to Ripple for example: Ripple is pretty successful as a company, but the price of XRP is not necessarily linked to that success because it only is meant as "bridge currency". And once Lykke hopefully will be profitable and doesn't chose to reinvest, it's also planned to pay dividends.

Nr 2 purpose is: While LKK represents ownership it's as effective regarding it's practical use like a usual cryptocurrency. That will make much more sense once Lykke goes more into the payment sector what is planned.

For example: They'll make a debit card available so it will be possible to withdrawal cash at an ATM or to pay with it in a store. That means that one can pay indirectly with LKK - but not only LKK of course but whatever a customer has in it's portfolio and he will also be able to determine what to use as "background-payment". It will be very practical and give a lot of choice.

Let's play with numbers a bit. Suppose Lykke becomes as big as Oanda. That would put its market cap at ~ $1.2 billion
One LKK would then be around $1 if the total Supply is 1,285,690,000 LKK
This is 10x its current price. I can see this becoming a reality.
The crypto world still lacks one serious (partially) decentralized exchange like this.

That's definitely a theory I've mentioned some posts ago, but you linked it to Oanda providing actual proof that is something very doable, perhaps even as soon as next year.

I also agree with you regarding the need for a trustable exchange. Lykke being semidecentralized achieves the best of both worlds, great usability and fast settlement while giving you complete peace of mind regarding your funds.
