Giga was a good Masternode project with high ROI of currently over 2000% per year for a small amount of 100000 XG https://masternodes.online/currencies/XG/

Giga Coin

Shell script to install a Giga Masternode on a Linux server running Ubuntu 16.04. Use it on your own risk.
VPS installation

Desktop wallet setup

After the Masternode is up and running, you need to configure the desktop wallet accordingly. Here are the steps:

    Open the Giga Desktop Wallet.
    Go to RECEIVE and create a New Address: MN1
    Send 100000 XG to MN1. You need to send all 100000 coins in one single transaction.
    Wait for 15 confirmations.
    Go to Help -> "Debug Window - Console"
    Type the following command: masternode outputs
    Go to Tools -> "Open Masternode Configuration File"
    Add the following entry:

Alias Address Privkey TxHash TxIndex

    Alias: MN1
    Address: VPS_IP:PORT
    Privkey: Masternode Private Key
    TxHash: First value from Step 6
    TxIndex: Second value from Step 6

    Save and close the file.
    Go to Masternode Tab. If you tab is not shown, please enable it from: Settings - Options - Wallet - Show Masternodes Tab
    Click Update status to see your node. If it is not shown, close the wallet and start it again. Make sure the wallet is unlocked.
    Select your MN and click Start Alias to start it.
    Alternatively, open Debug Console and type:

startmasternode alias 0 MN1

    Login to your VPS and check your masternode status by running the following command to confirm your MN is running:

Giga-cli masternode status

Usage:

Giga-cli masternode status #To check your MN status
Giga-cli getinfo #To get general info such as Giga version and current block numnber
Giga-cli mnsync status #To check if your MN is synced.

Also, if you want to check/start/stop Giga, run one of the following commands as root:

systemctl status Giga #To check if Giga service is running
systemctl start Giga #To start Giga service
systemctl stop Giga #To stop Giga service
systemctl is-enabled Giga #To check if Giga service is enabled on boot

That rate is long gone. Giga is going for about 0.00000045 BTC at the time of this reply. If you check https://masternodes.online/currencies/xg/, you'll see that the current Return On Investemnt (ROI) of a Giga masternode is 19 days. This means that if nothing changes, you'll get your masternode collateral back in about 19 days. However, as more masternodes come online, the time required to get back your collateral increases. So it means you have at least 19 days to get back your investment, and if the price of Giga doesnt fall, you can sell and make back your investment. Also the trajectory of Giga is pointing upwards meaning you may not have to wait that long to cash out.

The easy install guides above are basically going to work only for root users. However with a little work you can you can create a non root user and install and setup the masternode the manual way. However you should try to be a root user as much as u can.

Are there step by step instructions for setting up a node somewhere? If I don't want to run it as root.

If you are currently managing to increase the rewards of the PoS, your coin will have more holders which can make your coin more valued.

Giga is for payments, simple and short. Is there is something new or innovative in your Giga blockchain?  About partnerships, lol guys the coins with 3-4 years development can't get merchants on board and you are going to achieve it with some forked coin in less than a year?
