Be ready for the big buys..
I can't predict the market short term, but if this works out like last week... We staged a very feeble recovery of 115 points on the DOW today after massive losses the rest of the week. I don't think any intelligent person wants to go long into the weekend under current conditions. I expect the markets will be down hard again. At some point it will light the fuse on these crypto currencies and put us in full blown rally mode. Could be tomorrow, could be a few months from now. But if the stock market keeps cratering, I expect we will see panic buying of crypto before long.
Well obviously I was way wrong on this one. I lost a bunch day trading oil stocks Friday. But as I said short term trends are much harder to predict.

World markets are in meltdown mode. The Asian markets got slaughtered today. As I have said many times before, this is going to be much worse than 2008. They can't lower interest rates, and printing more money will only make it worse (as it has already done). I think we are going to eventually see days ahead where some crypto currencies will be up 100% in a single day. Who knows when the real panic will set in, and the lemmings will finally wake up. DOW 10,000 maybe?

hmm no answers to my questions just a i suspected ... wasted my money here kind of upset i liked my bitcoin and a half i spent...if any thing is said on the 20th ill eat my words lol
No one here knows anything more than you do. Or at least that is most likely. There is always a chance that some sort of surprise may happen. But the reality is we have some competent developers working to bring value to Megacoin. I understand a new Android wallet will be available soon. An update to core 11.2 is on the way, and a design update for the new main wallet is coming. If we get a surprise on top of those things, great. If we don't, you sure aren't going to lose any money if you just hold on to your coins.

I didn't mean Big Vern. I have always had a good experience with Crypsy until the last year or so. The crook that stole their Bitcoin and Litecoin should spend time in prison.
This is another reason why exchanges like Shapeshift are the future.
The problem is it took them so long to announce that they were hacked after accumulating users bitcoins, litecoins and multiple cryptos then locking users accounts without notifications.
I totally agree. They should have been upfront about the problems, and they would have much more support. The reason I won't use Cryptsy in the future isn't just because of the slow withdrawals, which did affect me to some degree. It is because of they don't respect your privacy. I don't trade fiat there, so there is no reason to verify anything. If they operated like Shapeshift, they wouldn't have gotten scammed.
