Ótimo projeto.

Estou acompanhando e utilizando as ferramentas.

Acredito que seja viável fazer a tradução para Português.

The mainnet has been launched successfully. Please welcome our Merge Coin (MERGE)!!

Source code: https://github.com/ProjectMerge/merge

- Windows users: download the wallet here: https://github.com/ProjectMerge/merge/releases/latest

- Mac users: we're looking for contributions from the community to get the Mac wallet ready, if you have the appropriate tools to compile and test it please let us know.

Wallet documentation: https://kb.projectmerge.org/guides/wallet
(if you can't open it using Chrome, then please try Mozilla Firefox-based browsers or Safari)

The net is on its first blocks, which belongs to the PoW - CPU Mining phase. Find out how to mine your wallet here: https://kb.projectmerge.org/guides/wallet/pow-cpu-mining
Alternatively, use of the pools that are being announced in this thread.

Additionally, three util, CPU mining-related repositories have also been added in our GitHub. Enjoy  : https://github.com/ProjectMerge

Thanks for your support and patience during all this time!

Dear community,

Thank you very much for all of your patience and support over the last few months.

We have all been working extremely hard to get the Merge Wallet as high quality as we possibly can. The wallet has come a long way from the initial genesis build to now.

Now we want to share this moment with you and run a first public testings of Merge wallet.

To participate in the public test, download Merge's testnet wallet 1.0.0 at https://github.com/ProjectMerge/merge/releases

What coins will be swapped?

Hi SaniaNET,

We will publish the coins to be swapped by blocks of 30 coins. The first block will come along with the release of the coin on the mainnet.

Dear Merge Community,

Please welcome our Merge Wallet v1.0 and Merge Web Wallet that will be available in the nearest future. Find the screenshots here: https://i.imgur.com/U6lWwJw.png.

Our Web Wallet is currently under its Beta version. Feel free to test it out. It's not just a MERGE Wallet but more than that! Please note the following:
- When possible, register using the same email address you used to register on our Website. We will eventually link both accounts.
- The MERGE wallet is using its Testnet version. The other coins' wallets are connected to their Mainnet.
- Consider not moving big amount of coins there for now, as the Web Wallet is on Beta and we will take no responsibility of any loses that may occur.

Dear community,

Here's an update regarding our latest progress:

Merge Coin

- We have changed our PoW algorithm to Argon2m to make it GPU resistant. This will make it fair for every user.

- The internal testing is going as planned and everything is running very smoothly. Feel free to check our tesnet explorer: http://mergetestnet.myexplorer.org/index.php

- Currently, we are ensuring the GPU resistant code is working as expected and testing the transition phase from PoW to PoS. Also, from the user interface perspective, we are fixing the most important typos and graphics.

Swap Website

- When we tested the Swap Website during the previous test, we found that the swap process could have a DDOS flaw that must be fixed before proceeding with the swaps.

- See here a view of the site:

Have a great day!

From the looks of the wallet its just a copy paste of pivx and a really old version of pivx. Nothing special or new on wallet side besides a bunch of bright colors. If the team was transparent you would make the github account public to see what exactly the devs are working on!

Thank you for your interest.  We are not an ICO. We are voluntarily swapping as many communities as we can for free. We make no money off the swaps. We burn all the coins. When we are ready we will give everyone all the information they need and open the github. The devs will fill you in with all the information you need. Right now we are spreading the word that if your coin and community are lost Merge may be an opportunity for you if you choose. Everyone is free to do as they please. If you are unhappy or untrusting of any of this then Merge is not for you. We encourage everyone to follow your heart and not your greed and make the decision that fits you best. We only offer opportunity to move forward for those that want to. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hi ProjectMergeFounder, is there any ETA about wallet release? When POW phase will start?
Thank you!

Hi Matt9301,

We have no ETA for the wallet release. Once we have fixed the bugs we have already found, we'll release the testnet version of the wallet for the community to try/test. Depending no how that goes, we'll better know an ETA.

PoW will start when we launch the mainnet, from block 2 till block 57601.

Hi everyone!

Here an update of our work this week:

Thank you for your ongoing patience. Initially, we intended to release the wallet to the community for testing last weekend. However, during the pre-release internal tests, we encountered bugs that needed to be fixed before we could release it. Everyone that is here has our best interests and are in our minds and goals. That is our priority. We only desire to help our fellow members of our community and the world achieve blockchain technology adoption.

Find below a quick update of where we are at the moment:

  • When we began the internal testing before releasing the wallet to the community, we encountered several "bugs", such as issues with naming conventions, MIT licensing, balance display, coin maturation, etc. We are fixing them and then will release the wallet for you all to play with the new Merge wallet with us!
  • The basic network functions work all fine at this stage.
  • We are also in preparation of creating a web wallet for the community. This will be used by community members that do not run full nodes.
  • Merge's Membrane has officially started as of yesterday! This is the primary goal and nature of Merge. It is our ecosystem and how we enable everyone to connect to the blockchain, regardless of who you are. We began by defining a simple process of out a real world application just for the sake of formally modeling Membrane protocol elements, as well as for writing the framework for the code. It doesn't sound like much to most but since we have a long way to go it is the first step to making the blockchain available to everyone.
  • The swap site is preparing the first 30 coins. The swap process is beginning its testing on the test wallet. Some minor issues are still open but it will be ready soon!

Once the wallet and swap process are stable, we will need a much larger stress and feedback source. That is you. Merge doesn't work without all of our participation in some way.

But a little peek here's our reward schedule!!

Cheers

Why do you need your coin? You can use bitcoin. Create all these things on top of the bitcoin blockchain. It will be much safer, never happen "attack 51%" and there will be a huge number of developers.

Hi cctothemass,

MERGE is not just a PoW coin, but also PoS. This would avoid a "51% attack".

In fact, PoW works only for the first blocks and then PoS takes over for the rest of the coin's life. We will post our Coin Rewards table right after this message.

Regarding the use of Bitcoin, it does not fit to our goals, as it has no platform where we can allow users building their own apps using blockchain technology.

Another benefit of using our own coin is for funding purposes. Funding of community projects and other areas needed to achieve the goals of MERGE.

Hope this answers your questions. For more information, feel free to ask again or check our Website: https://www.projectmerge.org/

Finally the news everyone has been waiting for! This weekend (assuming no major issues arise) we will start the testing of the wallet with the participation of the community!
Wallet to come, which looks promising!
Can you tell me about the first priorities of MERG team on exchanges for the coin, please.
Which exchanges are under the team's consideration now?

Hi maximumcoin,

We will decide which exchange to start with when the swaps are close to finishing. Given the number of options, we'll go for quality rather than quantity.
