Well it could be, but there is not only 1 whale who is playing at mintpal, there are many now, so it should not be a problem. I don't have a hard a fast methodology, but i look at the market cap potential and kinda do the reverse math. Vertcoin is @ $3 Million. Currently MRC is @ $242K. It would seem much to me, to see the market cap go over a million (realistically) if there is a pump, couldn't see it going over $6 million cap. So if you do the reverse math.... all aprox...

I'm doing a research project on coin distribution for both older and new coins. I'm interested on gathering some data for top addresses and how much of the coins the top100 have. This along with the number of people (addresses) actually holding any amount of coins.
I have some info from bitinfocharts on a few coins but I really do need some data on other coins along with less exposed or new ones.
If anyone knows an explorer with this feature drop a line.

I havn't been active in the community, but MRC has been on my watch list for awhile. Got in @ 4 satoshi. I'm looking at the mintpal order book. I feel like buy orders are a little to thick to really see an uptick of worth. If the mining continues, and not too huge of sell off, i'd say 10 satoshi. If my math is close, that'd put it in the 500k market cap range... then the sell off unless the network keeps continuing.
I'm just ramblign pretty bad huh.

Volume is 46 btc, up from 6 today. I dont think its over with yet, the whale wants more cheap coins to go on sale b4 the pump continues.
Also there are new ASIC scrypt miners coming out with 200mh/s. Microcoin if im correct is not affected by these ASICS.

haha man, soon as im going to buy MRC/LTC the price goes from 30 to 47. oh well. Good to see all the convo here. Things look promising. So, soon will come cpu mining, since good processors will now get 2x what my 270 is getting? for n factor, only GPU performance is affected correct? so a top I-7 will still get 100kh?
