Warning to all who are using the pool at  http://mint.hashrapid.com/   This pool was formerly a 66coin pool that closed without contacting members and member's 66coins have disappeared.  No email contact and no reply other than "We changed servers" in the 66coin thread. Don't mine at this pool if you actually want to get the coins you mine, they kept my 66coins and changed the site to a Mint Coin pool without notifying anyone.

I want everyone to know I have lost coins with these guys and so far they have done nothing but keep them.

From their Home page

"We've migrated to a brand new server!

Last night we had a big issue which required us to migrate and transfer to a new server.   We had over 90% load on our MYSQL and a very serious issue in the block index file.

Please login and cash out any old coins @ http://162.243.4.85"

All old coins are STILL on the old server and can be cashed out. I guess literacy is hard.

I've already tried logging in and it will not accept my username and password. username: chris66  Now what? No email reply from the pool, no contact. If my coins are still on the server exactly how can I retrieve them if the server will not let me log in? Contact should be no problem , you have my email address from the contact form I submitted at your pool and my registration, please use it. Literacy must be hard indeed if you cannot use your skills to contact me and let me know why I cannot retrieve my coins from your pool.

Chris,

Are you looking for hashrapids 66 pool?

Please goto it here

http://66.hashrapid.com

Please let me know if there is any issues.

Update: The 66coin pool at http://66.hashrapid.com/  is now up again, the link for the 66coin pool no longer takes you to the MintCoin pool and has been redirected to the correct location, the 66coin pool. Thank you.

It's been updated:

http://visual.ly/mintcoin-green-bitcoin-alternative

It's a work in progress while we're still waiting for the site. We can't push promotions til we have an appealing website to market (like worldcoin/earthcoin). So for the time being I'm just pooling all the promo stuff.

No good deed goes unpunished
Hey folks, anyone got an up to date .conf file to post here?

After 3 days of waiting (on ssd), given up syncing wallet - no connection - .. tried re-install, clear everything but wallet.dat (got meeellions of MINT in ether right now) .. and nada. I've waited long before, but not this long to make a connection.

Any ideas?

Let's try something, i will start a thread game,
im here for 1 hr more....

send a donation to MpQJ5uEK9p2AKXnGPmGGJBw3BMw1WbD7eb

The one that sends in the next 30min the closest unique donation to 1k MINT get 10k MINT as price Smiley

simple explanation

Donator1 sends 1k MINT
Donator2 sends 999 MINT
Donator3 sends 999 MINT
Donator4 sends 994 MINT
Donator5 sends 1k MINT
Donator6 sends 997 MINT

Winner is Donator 4 and get 10k MINT

If i get only 1MINT donated i will even send you 10k MINT Smiley

I hope you guys understand my bad english eheh Smiley

As there was the first donation now,at over 1hrs i decided to run for the next 12hrs from now.
if the total donations exceed 10k the exceeded goes to the 2 place up to 10k, if even more to 3rd place Smiley

As I think, mesurements from statistics about expected mined coins are not true? It looks like before halving.

You got it! Just updated our code due to the halving.  Since the reward is random, we use a running block average.  Previously this average was right around 500,000, but after halving it's now 240,000-250,000. Just updated now.
