Dear all, thank you for your patience. Like other coins MUE is under some price pressure at the moment. Rest assured we are working as fast as we can. Tentatively we are hoping to be able to announce in about two weeks, when the official migration date is. We are hoping this will be before the end of June. Thanks, B.

Hello, this address (https://slack-files.com/T1QJ02A78-F59S945S9-641f0339e0) download the wallet, you can set the main node? Need 50KMUE? Setting up the document?

This is a beta testing wallet, for which you need to come join the slack channel, to play around with it. We will send you some testing coins for the beta network. It is NOT COMPATIBLE with the current MUE/Quark based chains and live network.

For now you may use it to try sending coins to a shared masternode service, mixing/privatesend and instant transactions. We have not released the source yet so it is not possible to setup your own masternodes on the beta network just yet. We will allow that soon.

When we are ready we will provide documentation and guides as well.

This all said, please come visit the slack channel and participate in the beta testing!

Dear all, I am happy to announce another major partnership.

We have today signed a contract with another commercial partner.

This partnership will allow us to offer a retail section on the MUEX.io website offering 1000's of I.T/Electronics products.
That in itself is great.

What makes this UNIQUE within the crypto-space is that these are physical goods that will be delivered to your door.

These are goods you add to your cart, checkout, and pay, EXCLUSIVELY with cryptocurrencies.

And yes, you got it, if you pay in MUE you can expect preferential pricing Cheesy

So, you want a laptop.
You want to pay better prices than is available almost anywhere else.

You got to MUEX.io
You choose a laptop
You check-out
You pay in crypto
You get your goods to your door in 1-2 days.

No fuss, no hassle, no problem Smiley

We hope to start initial integration testing within 7-10 days.

Dug out my old MUE wallet but get the error "Error loading wallet.dat Wallet corrupted" (using 1.0.10.8 ) . Same goes for my other backups of the wallet. Is there a way to rescue the coins?

We will be releasing a new beta wallet hopefully later today - we discovered issues with the budget/proposal system which should now be fixed.
We'll update hopefully later today

Thats is only for few months, until latest Ibelink miner comes out and creams all earlier miners.

Regarding Quark Baikal makes them, even though they are hard to get and need to pay more.
Yep, at this moment - but Quark is an old algo used by very few POW coins, there is little reason why hardware manufacturers will continue to provide that functionality in the longer term.

Might have missed it, but why the migration to X11 is necessary?
Hi, it's part of the migration to the Dash codebase.

Access to X11 mining equipment is going to continue to improve, and it soon may be that specialist mining equipment for Quark no longer exists, leaving those with access to it potentially in total control of the Quark networks, while others have to rely on GPU.
We have to consider the security of the network from the POW perspective, and acquiring hardware & renting hash for X11 is very easy.

Your point is true BizzyB, there is far more hashing available for rental or purchase compared to Quark. This said, the more hashing strengthens the network and can help the MUE ecosystem grow, even if the X11 algorithm uses more wattage per mined block then compared to Quark.

c4 just mentioned to me about what we might call the MUE subunits - i.e Bitcoin has Satoshi, Dash has duffs, what could we call the MUE subunits?  Any suggestions?

I have always like Munits.  Someone else suggested Bizzies...

Happy to hear your thoughts?

MiniMUE's

I like Munits as well but shouldn't it be MUEnits?  I guess it depends on how people are pronouncing MUE, I would pronounce Munit and MUEnit the same way based on how I am already pronouncing MUE.

Just fyi, a user on our Slack channel was scammed out of 1 BTC by someone impersonating another user.
They had added a "." to the end of the username.

Please be vigilant.
