Don't look at my signature!
Just a quick update regarding the beta test - we are just finalising an issue with the SSL library when building the windows wallet - hopefully that will be cleared up in a matter of hours - will update later

Saw bizzy b video on YT. Seems like a nice guy who is working hard to bring value to MUE. MUE has been around for awhile. I will invest. Make us proud.

Can you post a link?  TIA

360TotalSecurity found a virus in wallet setup file:

Hi Rabinovitch, that must be a false positive, here's a scan by virustotal:
https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/0a885aecb3779c72c6bbf56ecc2f2ad29a0685fef638241ab7181b6848ec3823/analysis/1491891971/

URL:   https://github.com/muecoin/MUE-Src/releases/download/v1.0.10.8/monetaryunit-1.0.10.8-win64-setup.exe
Detection ratio:   0 / 64
Analysis date:   2017-04-11 06:26:11 UTC ( 0 minutes ago )

Thanks for bringing this to the teams attention, but I do not think there are any problems. In fact many wallets are flagged as malware if they have mining capabilities, or as I would think in this case, a false positive signature match to something else.

If you are uncertain check with other anti malware tools if they also find the setup files suspicious, and consider running the wallet in a locked down virtual machine for additional security for your system.

weminemue not reachable but still guys are mining there. its still the biggest pool. i want to mine there 2... slowly it looks like a scam only special people may mine there....

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mue/#!extraction

http://www.zpool.ca/ works well, but I can't seem to find the instructions on how to select only a single coin to mine instead of auto-switching. Nevertheless, they're there and pretty much incident free.

http://p2pool.e-pool.net:5856/static/ has started working much better and currently is showing stats very normal for p2p.

Those are two very functional alternatives, and since it's much healthier for the network to have a better distribution of hashrate, you're also doing everyone else a favour at the same time!
With zpool you have to put in c=MUE after the password section
e.g -p x c=MUE

I've tried everything from "quark c=MUE" to "c=mue" to "c=MUE" and everything in between (capitals, lower case, etc.) and I'm unable to mine just MUE. What on earth could I be doing wrong? My miners always end up multipooling!  Angry

Add: Something else that's a little weird is that the total value of the "other coins" is subtracted from the total value of the MUE I actually mine.
   Huh   Huh   Huh

must be a valid BTC address. Incorrect addresses will result in forfit of earning.
You can also use any valid wallet address from any of the coins we mine. This feature has had minimal testing so use at your own risk
Please always set your currency in your password field: c=
See the "Pool Status" area on the right for PORT numbers. Algorithms without associated coins are disabled.

That is from the zpool site. I don't use it myself.  What happens if you use the above syntax and -u 7......(MUE address) -p x c=mue  ?

Nah, doesn't work. No biggie though. Appreciate your getting back on this since I wanted to be sure that it wasn't something that had changed, or wasn't published, or something like that, but, yeah, that doesn't work, not for me anyway. Their thread looks dead, otherwise I'd post something there, just to give them the feedback, and if you have someone to relay the incident to, by all means, but it's not a pressing issue for me, so not to worry. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback but sorry it didn't work out. Well... just keep mining your tokens of choice, and trade them for MUE if you like.
