Thanks for your interest. No, windows wallet won't do mining. And, solo mining wouldn't be beneficial now. You can try joining any of the mining pools. But, still if you want to try out solo mining, do it with cpuminer.

Anyone aprrox know what is the maturity after stake?
Minimum stake age is 1 hour. That is, if you have coins in your wallet that have not been spent for at least 1 hour, they will start staking for pos reward. But, the time to receive pos can increase depending on the overall network weight, difficulty and the weight of your coins.
