So, with the demise of MintPal, where is all the trading volume?

Is there any voting effort to get listed at BTER? It seems to be the biggest and most active exchange these days.

Perhaps some community and or dev support can be added to vote NAUT up at BTER.

Actually bittrex is the bigger exchange and the volume has been pretty good the last days. Higher than it was on mintpal if I remember correctly.

BTER might be a nice addition though.

Ah thanks, Bitrex isn't on my radar cause I never trade there. All my trading is done on BTER and the NXT AE. I use crypontator to track my portfolio, just thought to look at it's NAUT volume page and see it does list Bitrex with the most volume. (Gotta stop forgeting about these tools I have.) Although, 100k volume seems pretty low.

Now, let's get that PoS that was "in testing" months ago released! At least a testnet version to show some progress.

POS is still not released??

Sorry if dumb question, but I've been out of the loop for 2months and POS was already promised/delayed and just around the corner way back then.

The significant number of problems with the block times forced a move to a more reliable Proof of Work phase, this is currently active, Proof of Stake is still planned, and is still being worked on, now that there's a more reliable blockchain it's more likely to be sooner rather than later.

We still don't have an accurate estimate given to us, but we do know that it is actually being worked on and is actually going to be released.

lets keep this ball slowly rolling, can most probably say no more naut for 10k satoshi's and under.
If you're correct,

That specifically means you believe the coin will not go down to the values it was at when it first showed on markets in the first place (which it hasn't done anyway), 8k satoshi.

Isn't this something I've been saying a long time?

its just nice to see some volume happening after a super quiet spell

I agree, NAUT is a storage of value, more than anything. Notice how NAUT does not dip (if at all) as much as other alts even when BTC is down?

Btc went from $390 to 380 (depending on exchange you watch) today and NAUT has been going up. That says a lot.

Beware
I cant get the new version of the wallet 1.2.0 to sync. Anyone can help me?

I tried unistalling the wallet, reinstalling, and deleting everything (expect wallet.dat) in the appdata.

I also  tried adding Nautilus.conf with the following nodes:

addnode=54.186.223.183
addnode=54.187.101.97
addnode=74.208.230.160
addnode=184.155.218.183
addnode=71.227.74.98
addnode=188.194.8.82
addnode=109.201.154.157
addnode=184.155.218.183

This is what mine looks like, it syncs fine using the latest wallet...

addnode=178.33.39.168
addnode=94.23.29.195
addnode=176.9.63.136
addnode=54.186.223.183
addnode=54.187.101.97
addnode=74.208.230.160
addnode=184.155.218.183
addnode=71.227.74.98
addnode=188.194.8.82
addnode=109.201.154.157
addnode=184.155.218.183

Good luck!

Thanks! Now it started syncing.

Tried these setting, doesn`t work for me..

Using windows 64bit version... All my other wallets work just fine :/

Hi all --

It seems like peoples imaginations have run away with themselves.

No new coin is in the works.  PoS is coming, just wanted to make sure the PoW fixes were stable.

That is all.

Lots of movement on Bittrex, anybody has any reason ? Smiley

It seems a slow steady pace, it looks like people are finally coming around to seeing a coin that's worth a long term investment (as those of us who've invested in the coin and believe in it have said since day one)

I partly agree with you on this. I am sure they will realise the value of this coin sooner or later. However, there is a big manipulation right now on NAUT Smiley You can see it from bittrex. One is buying only from the sell wall and he is not even placing anything on the buy wall... Then there was a dump 20 mins ago, and this time there was no sell wall but dump to 14ish prices.

So my point is NAUT is warming up now and people started the poker game Smiley Buy now and hold, don't get involve in the cheap games, you may just have no chance to buy back Cheesy

Another option is that someone is trying to take the attentions on NAUT by increasing the volume on bittrex. Very interesting stuff is happening and NAUT is becoming much more fun !

What is your explanation for 'when there is nothing on the sell wall, someone has just dumped on the lower priced buy walls some good amount ? Then someone bought again from highly priced sell wall' Smiley

I've noticed if my wallet doesn't sync, I just add the "addnode 178.33.39.168 add" into the console under debug window and syncs it instantly.  Is there a reason to add all the other nodes?
