Yikes, what has happened to David? He's getting into more and more fights with people in the altcoin community every day. I haven't followed him that closely (mostly his Naut stuff) but this seems very out of character. Just look at this https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/500299138466971649

He's lost the plot and playing the victim now. https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/500306721210761216

He's made so many enemies someone might kill his coin.

It's amazing what fame does to people sometimes...

Edit: He's got an admirer. https://twitter.com/IconicExpert/status/500307767039901696

BTER has been hacked, so we'll probably see that exchange go down quite substantially in volume. Doesn't really effect us since Naut isn't traded there, but still sucks for crypto as a whole.

Moolah just audited mintpal apparently.

Yes, you can also see the BTC volume increased some.

The hack really hurt NAUT because support dried up completely and volume hadn't caught up on bittrex by then.

Might be worth adding a function or two and possibly making the logo a bit more prominent but I think the value in NAUT really lies elsewhere. HYPER is a gamers coin and a fancy wallet kind of suits their setup but it's not to my liking. Some network stats would be good though.

hell yeah.  a price ticker, staking stats, and other little tweaks would be pretty nice.  And adding things to the user interface and changing the "theme" is pretty trivial compared to coding a new PoS system.

Believe me when i say this ... a lot of people jump on board or get out based on how a coin's wallet looks and functions.  The wallet is almost like the final gateway before someone decides to buy or "naut".  having a wallet that looks exactly like 99% of other altcoins is just plain lazy.

Also, i hope the wallet staking is worthwhile.  here's what i'm getting at ... blackcoin is a PoS coin that gives you some tiny amount every day or two.  But i've heard that putting your blackcoin on bter.com and collecting "interest" gives you almost twice the amount of coins than you get from staking.

And no, i don't own a single blackcoin ... not even one.  I've just been watching other PoS coins to see if Naut is making the same mistakes or successes.

Edit: Confirmed he holds about 8% of HYPER https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/499993604090499072

David Semen is 100% correct about HYPER's wallet.  There is absolutely no reason every cryptowallet should look exactly the same.  We need our wallet to have a NAUTILUS theme and that alone could make us stand out just a little bit.

The vericoin wallet is also one that we should look at.  It has button links to all the relevent vericoin info and social sites such as reddit, twitter, bitcointalk, irc, etc.

Whoa Whoa Whoa

THIS IS THE NAUTILUSCOIN THREAD.  HOW DARE YOU MENTION ANOTHER COIN'S NAME?  YOU MUST BE PROMOTING THAT COIN.

Just kidding.  But apparently if you mention another coin in this thread, you automatically get accused of pumping that coin.  And it makes certain people like "increasemyPeePee" and "whatdidsheshit" cry   Cry

Grab a tissue boys because i'm about to name 2 other coins.

our former Naut friend has officially become a pumper lol i'm glad he is no longer talking Naut tough

1. https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/499939227555987456
2. https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/499939356291768321

this is hilarious, is he even aware what he's doing?
Yes I saw that and I was thinking the same thing Smiley He was upset about the PoS delays (strange considering he's supposedly investing long-term) but I'm sure he'll start to pump Naut once it takes off again. I think he's very new to the altmarket and a bit all-over the place. Constantly tweeting new positions etc. I think he's a good dude at heart but not someone I would take much investment advice from before he's more experienced.

hell no advice from him, i feel bad for people that listen to these kind of people, if people did their own research they would do much better i think..

And so it begins... https://twitter.com/smokin35/status/499970987979706368
Yikes! Lots of people attacking him right now Sad I would advice him not to respond to the obvious trolls, but it's easier said than done I suppose. The pumpgroup might have been a bad idea though, although I don't think he intended it to be one.

He's lost the plot completely, I take back what I said earlier and think NAUT should distance itself from him entirely. https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/499978319383642115

absolutely.  he's such a lefty noob

Seriously unprofessional.
It's a very strange stance to take considering he's a big fan of Bitcoin, and the price of Bitcoin has been pumped by illegal arms trading on Silk Road, the Russian mob trying to get money out of Cyprus and Chinese venture capitalists looking to launder money, respectively. But Wall Street money? No way!  Cheesy I mean sure Wall Street has their problems, but the corruption there is insignificant to the scams and corruption in the altmarket at large.

Also, he seems to lump all of Wall Street together into one. The recent Bitcoin regulations were proposed by a rather small number of people, and is not necessarily representative of all of Wall Street. Furthermore he seems to think that NY wont have any more impact on the economy now, since some Bitcoin businesses are moving to Cali... I'm not sure how he figures a product with a 6 billion dollar marketcap partly moving out of NY will effect the worlds financial center.  Huh I still like David on some things, but I think he's wrong about most things when it comes to crypto. I'll be forever grateful for him pointing out Nautiluscoin to me though! Smiley

On the face of it, he appears to have picked an alt he could get for a few sats and used his increased popularity (from being involved in discussions with BK & Wyner on twitter) to pump that because he probably has a very large bag.

Edit: Confirmed he holds about 8% of HYPER https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/499993604090499072

On a side note I'm listening to Bryce on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BOmH0dHW-c and he just mentioned a completely new POS code.
Mind giving us the time if you have it? I'd rather not sit through the whole 3 hours Sad Nevermind it starts at 3:11! Smiley

3 hours 11 minutes.
