Im happy to see the big Dumpers gone and the Solid long term  NAV investors remain. Who can bring positive ideas, contributions to the Faucet a increase to Bounty and New ideas and conversion to the Coin.

Take a Solid investment Tip from me. Long term trade runs Pay with NAV .

Investing is not the only thing. When you go through the ups and downs of a Project and you reach the Final Goal. That is Priceless.

Hi Team,

Some of the feedback we've seen either here, the polo trollbox or further a field is that people are finding the Navtech Whitepaper a bit too technical. I sympathise that it is difficult for the layman and even the seasoned crypto investor to understand, not everyone is a software developer! Sometimes it's even hard for me to wrap my head around and I am the one who has designed and built the system! My head hurts!

Unfortunately this is the nature of whitepapers. It's like a walk through of the code and a full outline of how the solution works from a technical perspective. Have you ever read the bitcoin whitepaper? At least i didn't go that far! It even has calculus equations it it! Shocked

Anyway, Sophia and Mark have been so kind as to write an article which is perhaps a bit more digestible for everyone:

Quote from: Nav Coin

Nav’s new White Paper: The Cheat Sheet

On the 26th of September Nav Coin released a white paper for the re-release of their anonymous network. The 23-page document was written in impressive detail and explained the design, technology, and math, behind the simple tick-box anonymous send system. The groundbreaking design uses double blockchain technology and coin sending methods together to form an advanced anonymous sending system not before seen in the Cryptocurrency world.

Continue to the Atrticle

Thanks to Mark and Sophia for your efforts! I don't know what we'd do without you here to translate my geek speak into real english.

Talk soon,
Craig.

Cryptocurrencys are classified as an asset and will continue to be. More and more regulation will come in, and every day more and more tradional traders, laymen, and investors are coming from other markets and industry.
Honestly, I don't understand your concerns. Price is going up. This year price went up more than 800 % and the decentralization still has to take place. Then you say that the developers are not putting in effort in branding. What ? That's exactly how I found out about NAV ... due to their branding. I read an article about it in some crypto news site. The recent tripling in price was also caused by an article that was published in several sites.
I totally agree with your opinion.

People expect too much of NAV on a short-term.

The developers of NAV are working hard on their project in which I like very much the way they communicate. Everything in full transparency , they are also the first to help or to answer when something isn't clear for a certain investor.

People should make a difference about "good" news and "great" news. The price won't go "to the moon" with a release of a white paper as I've already mentioned this week.

For me, NAV is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies. If the weak hands would like to sell their NAV, for me fine as well.

Nevertheless, the news of the beta testing looks promising. I'm looking forward to it.

Are you expecting NAV price to be more expensive than BTC by the end of this week, or what Huh

So I'm staking now but keep getting conflicted blocks and it says to this address NeoN1thdzZcCkAcNGjWvbpjY4nzVFqdJJe

What and why is that?

Hi can you give some more information? So your wallet is showing orphaned blocks while staking?

When a new wallet? Shahim

What exactly do you mean?

BTW. New Blockchain data is uploaded. I will create a script to generate a daily upload!

Hi Nav Coiners,

Just a quick note from me. Everything is on schedule to start the beta testing today. I am just combing over the code to make sure I am logging all the errors in all the right places.

I have created the private channel on slack and invited the people who will be involved in the first round of testing.

If you haven't received an invite, don't worry, you will likely be part of round 2 starting in a few days time.

For those who have been invited to the channel, I will be distributing the new wallet to you in the next few hours and we will begin testing!

Talk Soon,
Craig.

nice to see this around just wondering why the price from polo keeps moving now i see, good to know this so better place now my position to fill up my order, good luck buds.

TOR and anon transfers are different things.

TOR is up and running now. You can synch and stake your wallet on TOR hidden services. so your IP will not appear in any peer list

check website or search this tread for how to make a navcoin.conf that will use TOR. this works now

Code:

20:25:21

getpeerinfo

So I'm connected and staking but my IP is masked by TOR. Now If I was to send or receive NAV the address will be on the normal blockchain and not anon.

So the following statement would be correct.

"NAV COIN 2.0 is or will be running 2 types of Anonymous options. TOR and The Unbeakable Code. "

Correct or incorrect

They fulfil different purposes.

Sending a Navtech Anon Transaction makes the transaction untraceable on the Nav Coin blockchain.

Using Tor hides your IP address from the Nav Coin Network when you're making transactions or syncing the blockchain.

The ultimate would be to Send Navtech Anon Transactions while using Tor, hiding both your IP address and making the blockchain records untraceable. I am yet to test this, but in theory there's no reason why it wouldn't work.

My NAV wallet shows me the following transaction in the transaction menu. It seems like the staking is not going on at the moment. Has been like this for almost 48 hours. Any way to solve this?

Generated coins must mature 60 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

you could try running repairwallet from the debug console. Just want to check that your wallet is also definitely unlocked for staking right?

I've uploaded an up to date version of the block chain to the website if that helps anyone having syncing issues.
