You could argue that it is not centralized if you like. However i could easily argue that it is in fact less decentralized then both Bitcoin and Darkcoin for example. So my point does still stand.

I think your argument that the foundation controls the network makes it not centralised is a fundamental error in conclusion of that statement - We have many foundation members around the world and you can become a foundation member today. This does not mean you have acccess to  see and let alone understand the mathamatics or even have access to the system. I am a foundation member - We all have voteing rights we have no access to any system nor would we no how 2.

rome wasn't build in one day. People here keep over hyping the news because they are happy. But in reality things will take time to adjust.

I am sure they are aware of the node and probably have a plan to decentralize them. As you can see in the white paper itself. it states it will decentralize. It aims for that.

Not sure if you dealt with this kind of network before but it makes sense that at first they want to control and make sure all the nodes are working as they should and the network wont go forking around. Once things settle down they will slowly decentralize the network. Slowly and with precision. the best way. rather then opening the gates and risk all kinds of bugs that they couldn't be prepared from the test network.

Dont look at the prices and judge the coin. Look at their main goals.

its been a long wait and annon will be switched on soon. i dont care if it tomorrow or next week. this is huge. A pos with annon. Most of the POS have had difficulties and i think this feature will make navajo the first useful pos coin.

Then slowly they will start implementing and spreading decentralized nodes.

Ignore the price manipulations. Be patient and focus on the main goal. Ask your self: Are the devs doing what they are promising?  

To me it seems so.

Hey HashForce is it still the 22nd at where Soopy is?

Having a centralized cryptocurrency somewhat defeats the purpose and the advantage of having a cryptocurrency in the first place. Even the Navajo Devs them selfs recognize that decentralization should be the goal.

I hold NAV myself as well by the way, i want it to succeed. Maybe doing something similar to the masternode network of darkcoin might be a solution to distributing the functions that the central servers of the Navajo foundation now carry out.

This is a very good decision - no one can just create nodes and ill always vote against it. I dont want to follow the path of DRK . We will improve - refine and make the most highly secured system for our cleints
