AS WAS MENTIONED A FEW POSTS BACK YOU CAN NOW TRADE YOUR NDASH @https://www.yade.io/market/btc-ndash.html.
A few of us have worked probably 200 hours between basically two or three of us to attempt to save this abandoned Joe Dirt coin, turn it around, and show that sometimes these types of coins are worth saving. I spearheaded this campaign, investing over 100 hours cleaning up code, implementing and launching the block explorer
http://neodash.net:3001, putting together a website, drafting a whitepaper, creating social media pages on
https://facebook.com/neodashcoin, Twitter
https://twitter.com/neodashcoin, Slack, and Medium, trying to find solutions to the original dev's premine, looking at other coins and projects to possibly fork from, finding real world use case scenarios for Neodash, and financing all of this out of my own pocket.
Here is my post earlier today on the discord Neodash server (I'm Feltersnatch nearly everywhere but here):
Feltersnatch - Today at 2:56 PM"Look, I'm still standing with, for and behind this project, albeit most likely in a fork or completely new coin at this point. The major hurdles to overcome with NDASH in it's original form are significant, and while I've spent a considerable of time trying to rework the code, getting the block explorer on-line from start to launch, facebook, twitter, slack and other social media pages and a not insignificant amount of my own money trying to save this coin I have reached the conclusion that the following issues require us to collectively regroup, under a new coin, with a new name, and without a greedy, scam artist dev that leaves (mostly) innocent traders, miners, masternode owners, etc. holding the bag. That is a major problem, the original DEV holds the vast majority of the coins over several wallets we have identified and, most certainly, many others we have not discovered. We could attempt a swap with the new coin, but I will let the community collectively vote on that one. The other major problem is with the code itself. It's dirty, replete with problems, and needs a complete overhaul. For example, one of the reasons we were finding it so difficult to list on exchanges was the way NDASH generates new addresses, more specifically, the prefix to new NDASH addresses. If you haven't noticed, NDASH has no single prefix to its addresses, they are all over the map. It was an issue with the new DEXs (decentralized exchanges) such as BarterDex, CryptoBridge, etc. .... Other noticeably issues are things like MN voting and governance (code is shitty), and the fact that, to survive in a crowded and exceedingly competitive market, a new coin needs some novel features, things that appeal to non-crypto people, make it easy and functional, and, most importantly, have a real-world use case scenario for the coin, which NDASH-like most other coins-didn't have.
My thoughts at this point are to cherry-pick
the best features and ideas from several coins --both new and old--coins like Dash (governance and MN), DIVX (Divi) (Tiered MN system, marketplace, lottery, POS/POW hybrid-multi algo...... people friendly mobile apps -- wallet, miner (see, e.g. Phoneum) -- something my 75 year-old mother could understand and operate and not be afraid to press "SEND" and hope and pray that her hard -earned money, which she cant actually see, touch and feel, arrives where it is supposed to, the Gold Standard in anonymity of transactions, if wanted, needs to be available with zSnarks or some other form of almost impenetrable anonymity. Then implement the very best ideas into a new coin--a coin with a real world application and use case that appeals to the masses. In this day and age of a huge rubbish pile of shitcoins growing exponentially larger on a daily basis, there are a few fundamental necessities:
- We must develop a coin that appeals to the masses, including those who feel intimidated or less than intelligent when it comes to digital currencies;
- The coin must have a real-world use case scenario(s), which bolsters confidence and acceptance by the masses (see, point 1, infra); and,
- The coin, its team members, devs, and community must instill confidence in others that the coin has everything necessary to become a viable, sustainable and, most importantly, useful coin in a sea littered with digital flotsam and jetsam
It's time to regroup, cut our losses and develop a digital currency for the masses. During our lifetimes, we are likely to see the largest transfer of wealth in human history.....Let's make certain we are a significant player in that industrial revolution level event. I can be reached on any of about 2500 discord servers that I am going to be mass deleting, best way to reach me is to simply DM me. If I don't get back to you right away, it's likely I have either: (1) began banging my head against the nearest hard object in an attempt to alleviate the Discord notification sound from my head; (2) happened upon Elle McPhereson who, in my delusional state, appearantly asked me to move in with her in the "Land Down Under"; (3) I am busy with my real job as an intellectual property attorney (that I was supposed to leave to pursue this dream of dreams full-time +) and attending to clients; or, most likely (4) ignoring Discord because I hate it and the 256 servers I get invited to on any given day and have decided to work on the embryonic stages of development of this new coin (no name yet, but suggestions are welcome and appreciated--I have "NOTASHITCOIN" on the shortlist thus far).
