Hi everyone, I am new in this community. One thing I want to know is how many developers are working on this platform. I find that PIVX is making a lot of progress, so I am not sure how many more developers they have compare to NEOS.

We have 3 developers in the immediate team, 1 of them being inactive during this release due to personal reasons.  Neos and PIVX have two different goals and visions in mind.  We have quite a bit of code we're working with here on top of the base modifications.

Thanks for the response.

Have you guys considered making a graphic comparison of NEOS and the other MN coins? I think NEOS has a lot of potential but not everyone in crypto community really knows who NEOS is. A lot of the success of PIVX IMO is due to the success in their banners by attracting  lot of new money that is coming to crypto.

I think NEOS can differentiate itself from Crown or MonetaryUnit and position itself to become the third most valuable MN project in the market.

I sold my NEOS first time on 31 May 2016 @ 10k satoshis. In Sep 2016 it was 30k and each time a new floor is established. After each sharp rise there is a sharp fall again to buy back that can also be seen in the recent ATH. It is actually a very good coin imo to swing trade. I hope now it goes back up and a new level of 100k-200k is not impossible.

Finally...found the right forum lol

Ok guys ive bought a MN...
thinking of getting more....  Smiley

Sorry about that, I know we have a trail of old posts lingering and that's on our list of tasks to handle (cleaning them up).  You can join us on slack also, or our official forum (http://forum.neoscoin.com
no probs, these things happen
ahh thanks for the link
is there a guide on how to set up the NEO MN?
any NEO MN multipools for those that dont have enough NEOS.

Thanks guys

For now, evoked has put together a document for setting up a masternode here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10qHrPxmBX_OQ7JH9bNWXGDR3d0nbciPG7YDMLLDpSIs/edit
As far as NEOS multipools go, www.infernopool.com pays out in NEOS as an option.
Thanks again  Smiley

Is there a way to extract the private keys directly from the wallet.dat ?

Thx

Thx to the devs for the good work! :-)

You could use dumpwallet or dumpprivkey.

Quick question.

I have my old wallet.dat file from way back in the web wallet days and a substantial amount of coins on it.  Did I miss out on the swap or can I still trade them in for the new coins?

Thanks

I have this question as well... where did my coins go? I haven't been keeping up with NEOS but i had funds in a wallet on whatever version was "current" as of January of this year. Seems a mandatory update happened (which is fine) but now I don't see my funds on the new chain at all- can someone from the NEOS team provide some context here?

The wallet my coins are on is "version" 1020001, "protocolversion" 90001 and "walletversion" 60000. Current chain is "version" : "v1.0.1.2-61402", "protocolversion" : 61403, "walletversion" : 60000. Importing my privkey into the new wallet results in zero balance. How do I get my coins back?

Your old addresses and private keys are still valid on the new chain, but keep in mind the supply was reduced by about 79%. Check to make sure your wallet is fully synced. It might not be showing your balance because its not synced.
