Is this normal? Looks like I miss a lot and don't know why?

It seems you had 2 blocks staking one big and one small and the big block staked 2 hours earlier but they should merge now that small one staked.

Do you maybe know how to use coincontrol?
Best is to confirm in coincontrol that there is only one block because it can sometimes happen there are more like when you send new coins to the wallet or after it staked it sometimes put them in a new block and you need to merge them manually to get the best PIR. You can merge them by sending the second block(s) (if it,s a different adres) or all blocks to yourself.

Also a tip when coincontrol is active you have in send coins page a option to fill in a custom change adres. Put there your adres so when there is change it sends them to the correct adres  Wink

so what are the future plans for NETCOIN? I hear a change of POS will happen soon to max 45% of the coins per year or something? What is that about and any more DEV planned?

That change will occur (predicted based on blocks) December this year (the PIR rates drop).

It's outlined in the white paper on PIR and the implementation ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzKZ-_ykmcJ2Vm9pbmFwN0R3dWM/view?usp=sharing)

Current dev work: Working on the core to update to latest, multi-pool being finalized (pays out in BTC and NET) and the beta tests are showing good profitability for the pool, which will help buy pressure on NET.

We have some more thoughts/plans, but all fledgling at the moment.  Also working on getting a web-dev team in place to do some face-lifts to the site, forums, etc!

Spread the word...GO NET!

OK great sounds pretty good then. Going to buy another few million over the next week to POS to the MAX.

I dont think it was an issue.. I just didn't know how to load the block chain I downloaded so I  downloaded from scratch. After that gruesome download I got it sorted. I was trying to do everything from terminal (SSH as screen broken) which is why I mentioned coding. If I wasn't doing that would have been easier

It would be easier to help with your debug.log file

tepelstreeltje is one of our developers that does the mac clients.

Its OK I did get it working in the end late last night with my limited code skills.
I AM STAKING AND IT FEELS AWESOME

That's awesome nice one dude stake on  Cheesy but im curious what was the issue and how did you fix it. Is it something i need to adress and prevent it for other Mac users?

I started from Scratch.. replaced the wallet.dat file. Left downloading for 24 hours and now crashed. Wallet won't even open. I have never had problems with wallets like this.

what part of the bootstrap file do I need to put in application support/ netcoin? Before I dump my 10 mill of coins as getting annoyed now Smiley

new wallet then downloaded the block chain.. What do I need to put in from the download though? like the netcoin bootstrap blockchain file

Really wierd it stopped downloading the chain you use Mac right?I build the Mac wallet and had no issues. Can you maybe PM me the debug log so i can look in to it? You can find it in the NetCoin folder in application support. Just right-click finder then "go to folder" and paste this ~/library/Application Support/NetCoin.

This is also the folder you copy the files of the bootstrap too.  The instructions on how to use are in the bootstrap zip file.

Guys my wallet is stuck downloading blocks. This means its online but stuck downloading block chain. Any ideas?

Hey hey,

Lets do some troubleshooting first:

1) Do you have the latest wallet version? (2.3.1)?

2) If so...did you try using the quick block download (http://forum.netcoinfoundation.org/...in the header bar, there is a link for quick block download)?

Let us know.  If that doesn't work, we'll have to dig deeper.

Great I will try this tonight. How many coins is decent to start staking for big rewards?

Keep us posted!

For staking: Depends on what your view of big rewards is Smiley  For some of us at NET, every single NET is a big reward.  But, you know..we're kinda bias Wink

1 Million will get you 80% return (although, bear in mind that the 80% is the targeted annual rate, so, with 6 months left at that rate, you're looking more closer to 40%.  So, put 1mil in now, have 1.4 million come Dec...if you keep staking and keep that wallet open often).

100,000 NET gives you 30% at the moment (so, 15% if you started today).

here's a little info on the PIR rewards (and how it works):

I have the latest wallet. Now what do I do with the block chain download on mac please?

That's a steal if you can get 10 million for 20BTC.

Also can anyone sell a large amount to me please? Like 10 Mill for 20 BTC would be good.

Smiley

Shame.  Not to long ago NET was below 100.  Seems as if of recent it's moving up (and, some more projects/applications will be released shortly that will continue to drive buy pressure).  Of course we're hoping soon we'll be saying "not to long ago net was below 1000".

Transaction times are fast.  70 confirms, but that goes by like nothing..another good thing about NET.

10million...that's 100% PIR.

So, for 6 months...go from 10million to 15million Smiley

I think you might have a hard time picking up 10 million for 20btc today.  Part of the reason being that there aren't a whole lot of coins circulating at the moment.

Take a look: http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/NET/richlist.php

A few of those addy's in the top 10 are exchanges, which means nearly 1/4 to 1/2 of the coins aren't in circulation at the moment.  On top of that, there are a fair number of addresses with coins in them...that have been dormant since 2013.  Maybe they are smart.  Maybe they forgot about their coins (or wallets/passwords).

But, yeah...NET is getting some good responses from investors and stake coin lovers.
