As far as the CF stuff goes you might want to take a look into what is happening with Qora in this regards (and maybe try and work out whether both projects could benefit from some cross-promotion).

An idea...

How about to create a purely dedicated site for BURST's CF feature? I'm aware of https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125/atcrowdfund.html, and it does its thing, but I'm thinking of something more like a well-designed, stand-alone "portal" where you find a tutorial, FAQ, a list of funded project and emphasize that everyone with a BURST address can start a CF in minutes along with the other benefits of crypto CF. Perhaps even integrating a chat on the "Portal page"?

Below that, you put the link to /atcrowdfund.html. Also, if you can come up with a very PR friendly name for it with a real simple URL, I think we can get a lot of attention from the general, huge CF community due to the simplicity, no-fees and freedom perhaps not found on established CF platforms.

Would we get attention by the established CF community, we would also get a lot of free PR as these guys are experts in that area to get their projects funded.

Just an FYI, the new asset BURSTeam, will not be doing its first payout until June 1st, considering it has just started. This means the first payout will be larger than the rest, and it will also give me time to get the new HDDs and get them mining. Smiley

Hmmm... What's the plan with "give me time to get the new HDDs and get them mining"? You have 25TB, as I understand it. If you invest in even more capacity, the asset is pretty much as good as it gets.

PS: that little asset guide I suggested for newbies would be a great supplement to get the buying/trading of assets grow, linked in OP  Wink

Well, I've ORDERED 25 TB, that hasn't arrived at my location yet, I expect it by the end of the week. I WILL be putting more power, and other types of power at it as well. in the future. As well as ByteEnt. Smiley

Hi, I got an Asset question.

How do I cancel a sell order?

Short answer - you can't. Once you've confirmed that this action is what you really meant to do, it happens.

I had the same concern when I first started with Burst. Since I wasn't able to cancel my sell orders (when I made a mistake) i'd just had to rethink my move before proceeding with it. I think that the ability of cancelling the sell order would be a great way to avoid mistakes. This would be similar to an exchange where I could cancel buy or sell orders anytime.  Grin

As mentioned above, you CAN cancel a sell, as long as you haven't placed one into a BUY... if you're planning on selling to a buy... you're SOL currently, but you get the chance to second-think your decision before you put your password in. So just be SURE you're wanting to sell when you do, if selling into a BUY.

Thanks for this information. I wasn't aware of this, so it means that you will get to rethink your decision after all before making a sell order. As for the new asset, I have invested a few BURST into it just to try how it works (since I got nothing to lose) It is a good thing to see how BURST community grows each day, but I hope that mass adoption of BURST would come in real soon as it offers a very attractive way of mining crypto currencies, just by using your free space. This will make an advantage among other cryptos in the mobile area (like in Android) as you'll be able to mine coins effectively without the use of CPU or GPU intensive tasks.  Grin

-[ANNOUNCEMENT]- Ninja Pool changes.

At 6PM EST today, the acceptance deadline on Burst.Ninja is going to be dropping from 8 days down to 6 Hours. If you cannot consistently generate a deadline less than 6 hours, we're asking you to switch to pool.burst-team.us. The burst-team pool is run by the same people as Ninja, has the same interface, but accepts deadlines up to 32 days. Industrial scale miners should stay with Ninja, everyone else switch to burst-team.

Pool url: pool.burst-team.us ports 80 or 8124
Wallet Address: pool.burst-team.us:8125
Reward Assignment address: BURST-32TT-TSAC-HTKW-CC26C

Burst.Ninja has way too much hash power currently, and that will be unsettling to any potential investors. Lets make Ninja the pool to goto for mega scale miners, and burst-team.us the pool for the rest of us.

H.

You could of give us some notice of this action! A few days to switch over would have been nice, found my miners practically idle and had no idea why.

-[ANN]- Ninja pool changes upcoming.

We have moved the deadline limit back to 8 days for now, but we are going to be moving it back to 1 day or so by the end of the week.

To smaller miners, please move your miners to the new pool where the deadline limit is much higher to see better returns.

Since ninja has mostly large miners, we have decided to separate the pools more and make it more of a differential setup. The ninja pool will now be setup for larger miners and dedicated to servicing them, and the new pool (http://pool.burst-team.us) a clone of ninja with different settings, will be there for the smaller guys to maintain better income than they would on ninja, and also further decentralize the network, thanks!

If you look at this image it is not connected to a buy order. I have no options with this sell order.

if you go over to the asset exchange on the left, then look at your open orders, you'll see your orders there and you can cancel the order there as well Smiley

Thanks I found it boy me feel so noobish lol

We have given notice that the new pool was going to be setup for the medium/smaller miners and that ninja will be for larger miners 50+TB or more. Sorry if you missed that, but please move over to the new pool and join us! http://pool.burst-team.us

'

what are you talking about H? You CAN cancel a sell order, as long as it isn't one that has been fulfilled..., click 'my open orders' under 'asset exchange' in the wallet, and click 'cancel' by the order you're trying to cancel.

I have. For a moment it even seemed to work.

Then only "No connection to server. Trying to reconnect."

Can you see my edits?

Does it work equally well in all browsers?  Where is the manual how to use it? Has your node crashed? Have you simply switched it off?  Does it need you restarting it?

if you made edits while server was still running, they should be there, i've cloned the server to move to a new host, I'll post it when it is moved. Thanks for pointing this out.
