Yeah ! Nice ! Smiley

Here is my review :

- Left menu : Working nice. Good idea to save the passphrase.
- Wallet : Receive, send and options working nice. It should be nice that when we're in send or receive, if we click on the back touch on our phone, it just go back to the wallet, not quitting the app.
Moreover, I have a display bug, I can't scroll left to right on the recent transactions and my screen is too small to show them entirely. I have also the "log out" button on the middle on my screen ... ?
- Crowdfund : Great ! Smooth ! The only tiny bug is the "X%" which is not correctly displayed.
- Faucet : Working nicely.

Thanks to the team and keep up the good work -daWallet Smiley

-[ANNOUNCEMENT] - BURST releases Android Client!

For immediate release April 17th 2016

BURST cryptocurrency releases Android Client

Introduction: BURST as the innovative HHD-mining, eco-friendly and secure cryptocurrency

BURST or BURSTcoin, ‘Bitcoin 2.0’ cryptocurrency, has released yet another addition to their arsenal of applications surrounding their crypto platform, the Android Client. For those of you who enjoy doing things on mobile devices, this may be a nice addition if you’re interested in the only coin that can be mined on free space.

What is BURST Android Client?

The BURST Android client is just what you may think, it is a wallet for BURST, that you can run on your Android devices. A simple search of Google Play for ‘burst wallet’ will bring you to its download. Make sure to get the one from ‘BurstDevTeam’, as that is the official release from the team. You will then be able to load your BURST wallet on your Android.

There is a simple video on this release by crowetic posted here…

https://youtu.be/SLp_V0JI4hA

PlayStore download link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=burstcoin.com.burst

What does it have, and what will it have in the future?

The BURST Android client for now is simply an interface for the BURST official web wallet. It currently supports logging into and using your BURST wallet. In the future, the client will support official BURST Android Plotting and Mining. This means, that soon you’ll have the option to mine the coin on your mobile devices, something that isn’t available on any other PoW style coin. Stay tuned for some more functional and powerful releases from the BURST development team.

The wallet has crashed, working on it.

H.

OK good job we are back. Why do we have to wait for 3 Confirmations on a Reward Assignment? I can understand one being necessary otherwise you could mine on two Pools with the same Plot,  Smiley Could we not cut back to 1?

Rich

Okay, pool is backup - whatever crashed the wallet also corrupted it, had to copy over a new copy of the db.

The pool waits three blocks to make sure we're on the correct chain - earlier both pools got onto the incorrect chain for 2 blocks - if we'd paid out after one confirmation, we'd have paid for an invalid block, and have a negative balance. Three blocks gives a reasonable time to verify we're on the correct block without being a burden to the miner.

new version Burst-miner v1.160413
https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/releases/download/v1.160413/miner-burst-1.160413.zip

+ uses AVX (improved performance to 5-15%)
+ added new parameter "UseHDDWakeUp": true (reads struct of files every 6 min) - disable continuously parking heads
* fixed bug (Proxy-mode)
* fixed bug ("ShowWinner" : true)

If your processor did not support AVX -  just use miner-v1.160413.exe

https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst

It's working really well, I've uploaded a video of the new version in action here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TB6UJRGKPCs

It works well for me too. But when "UseHDDWakeUp" is true it crashes when I press Q. When it is false it shuts of normally. I run win 10.
its no big deal just a small bug!

I was going to wait until the new pool had hit a block, but it seems my mining luck is poor today. Given that the code is known to be reliable, and that the pool successfully paid up all miners as part of the cloning .... I'm now happy to release details of the new pool.

The new Burst-Team pool is open and mining.

Details:

Pool url: pool.burst-team.us:8124
Reward Assignment address: BURST-32TT-TSAC-HTKW-CC26C

The pool is running the exact same code as Burst.ninja, and additionally has the longer permissible deadlines that the original burst.ninja had.

These longer deadlines are suitable for smaller miners, but all miners small or large are welcome.

Note that the database still needs some spring cleaning, so for now it will show your 'Total Earned' as the sum of your earnings on Ninja and Burst-Team.

H.

Thanks to all those that have moved over. However, we want more of you. Ninja! still has too much power on the network, and will make investors nervous.

The burst-team pool doesn't pay as often as Ninja! does, but it pays much bigger when it does.

If anyone switches to the Burst-Team Pool and feels like they've earned less than they would have on Ninja!, contact me, we'll discuss, and I'll personally make up any reasonable difference.

H.

The Burst-Team pool hit a block, and I can confirm payouts are working correctly.

Let's break up the power of Ninja (and this is with the OK from Ninja, they provided the pool code) - too much hash power in a single pool can lead to fears of a 50% attack, scaring off investors.

Move some mining over to pool.burst-team.us:8124 and cool down the power of Ninja.

Is the Burst network down?

Rich

Nope, just a problem with that last block - think the pools might have gotten onto a forked chain, they're back on the real one now.

@burstless, why you does not update?  Huh  Your miner's version is very old.
v1.160413 more faster for 99.2 Tb (and stable)  Wink

@ALL did you have errors after closing miner?

Hello Blago,

AVX version works well,  roughly 66MB/s read rate using i3-4370 5 disks ~ 12TB.  I do get a Windows program error when I close using the 'Q' command.
Keep up the good work, I sent you a small BURST tip.

Good Job,
Merick.

Just tried it with windows 8.1 and the apllication would not start. No errors, just a windows allow program message and then it would not start.

It's okay its running just me being stupid, I didn't allow the application to run in the windows defender I just clicked ok.

The new AVX miner runs at the same speed as the GPU miner. I could even add some more disks to be read at the same time - my processor is at 55% during the read. Great work Blago! I don't keep any Burst, but I'll send you a little tip in Monero if you send me an address.

Going to switch over the BURST ninja asset miner to the new pool. If any asset holders have issues with that just let me know, but I think it's a good thing.

Thank you all who contributed in the Crowdfund for Android.
Especially the Team who contributed a big stack of Burst and some community members who see the big picture.

We developed the last 2 weeks and we've got quite far.
