How long i have to wait for wallet do download blockchain?
Takes a day or 2.
You can download it faster from here: http://db.burst-team.us/
Move the file you downloaded into burst_db to use it on your wallet. It comes from @Haitch, so you don't have to worry about a broken or evil blockchain.

Great work on the wallet! Getting plots completed (even if my poor old laptop took three tries to get it done) and getting to mining was very easy, the GUI looks great, and there's a lot of nice features.

We're continually improving user experience and features. Stay tuned!

Happy to report that the NRS version 1.2.6 for Windows is working like a CHARM - Everything is SO simple an self explanatory, that I was Pool Mining in NO time (once I had written my Plots)! LOVE how this Coin is also MUCH more "green" than others, using very small amounts of psu/energy. Thanks BURST!   Smiley

We're glad you're happy, stay tuned for our next announcements. Welcome to BURST!

can be sure that I am happy for the next announcement. I love BURST, I think a very good coin Grin

just letting everyone know that i switched to uray's miner a week ago and it is a great deal better than the miner that is built into the wallet download.  nothing outright against that software, but the way that we plot drives on and off, with different wplotgenerator locations and such, we usually have multiple naming issues with the plots and various overlaps.  i have not found a decent program to clean these up right.  i use one program that renames the files, but that is about it.  the built in miner prints and shows the errors on every read, the overall space is right, but it makes it hard to see the dl's and nonces.

urays miner seems to basically ignore the names of the plots and gets the nonces directly during the read for fewer displayed errors.  the config file is simpler, although it seems there is no setting for target_deadline.  i added the variable in the config and it did not throw an error, but did not abide by the target_dealing, no big deal.  so, for those that have real messy plots, uray's miner is the way to go

As far as I know urays miner is linux only. If you use a software that doesn't show errors, it doesn't mean that there are no errors.

The Win Client is not made for huge mining operations - it is more a helper tool for beginners. As long as you don't interrupt the plotting process the Win Client doesn't overlap.

@rockmoney: Thank you. With over 1000 Downloads a week I got feedback only by few people that have trouble with it. Sadly even fewer people give me positive feedback.

We silently thank you and adore you,DaWallet!

@morantis: You are right. But there is a improved version here:

https://github.com/dpreyl/burst-miner/

https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/113/uray-s-c-crossplatform-miner-64bit-ultra-low-ram-usage

I still recommend the further developed Blago's miner for Windows.

well, maybe it is newer, the program that i found labeled on the internet as uray miners is a conf file and an exe, so, although it may be able to run on linux, the one i found is def windows

Question.

Where is the best place to look for assets to add them into the wallet?

Thanks
Here: http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/category/6/asset-exchange or here: http://util.burst-team.us:8888/asset.

Just remember to do your own research.

Thank you Frilled

Yes research should be done to avoid scams I would believe. A very unfortunate thing in the world of crypto. Too much of it!

Urays miner exists precompiled for windows. However, IIRC a while ago some "coders", including "You-Know-Who" indicated that the miner has certain flaws. I cannot recall what flaws exactly though.

can i ask basic question can you tell me the possible mine coins using i7 laptop with 1 tera hdd. thanks  for your kind reply.

You can check it roughly using the calculator here http://burstcoin.biz/calculator, naturally I will vary depending on how lucky you are.
Currently the calculator indicates 2520 BURST per month per TB

We're glad you're happy, stay tuned for our next announcements. Welcome to BURST!

Coinbase Company announced its readiness to add support for any cryptocurrency that users want to see on the platform.

This California company CEO Brian Armstrong wrote on Reddit.

Quote
We have now added support for ethereum as well on Coinbase, and may add others. We are looking to support any cryptocurrency that our customers want to use, and my hope is that one of them succeeds massively, reaching billions of people over the coming years. I'm very interested in have digital currency scale, and I agree that ethereum seems to be doing a much better job at this than bitcoin right now. But the future is still unknown.

Lol the market cap growth that burst will see in the next few months is going to be a great treat Smiley

In the future, Burst miners will be able to mine with 1TB SDXC cards with the Burst phone app.
