Has everyone gone solo, all the Pools seem to be winning very few Blocks?

Rich

Look here

http://observer.ddns.net:1111/pool

BURST-BYAS-AZU5-RPWX-B4HQ5 is finding all the blocks.  Are they a pool?  Maybe someone with a bunch of storage servers?

Well they never going to need the space and as long as I am not breaking or damaging anything I doubt anyone would mind. They don'y know since I don't tell them but they also don't know what runs on those machines anyway. S I may as well use the space ^^

But no I won't be in trouble.

Reminder to whoever it might concern

The faucets have been set up by generous people who want to help out new users to get a few burst.

they are not set up so professional beggars can create accounts and beg for money, then move the money to their own account.

be a nice girl and send some of the burst you hustled your way to, back to the faucets you took it from.

Which faucets are you talking about ?

Different professional beggars use different faucets.  for example we have this thug, http://burstcoin.biz/address/7598295698519239943  Peter Knotek

if you look at his transactions a lot of the money sent to him, has been sent by (newly created) wallets that in turn has been asking several faucets for money. But it all ends up in his acct.

Just because something is possible, it is not right. I hope he is ashamed of himself and his abuse of generous people who runs and funds the faucets.

This is not the only accout, but the pattern is more or less the same.

We can hope that he gets tired of abusing the faucets and start trading or something, we can always use more burst trading volume.

At work the computers have free HDD space and I use it to earn burst ^^. Then I do half intensity mining at night. The HDD doesn't get used so much more then normal and there is always space so it was only going to waste so now I make something with nothing.

As long as your workplace is okay with it, you don't want to get in trouble, heh. But yea, that's exactly what we try to get through to people. You already HAVE freespace, why not use it to earn some coin? Smiley

try using gpu plotter but keep getting invalid parameters count at line?

[    gpuPlotGenerator.exe generate buffer E:/Burst/xxxxx_0_3432248_4096    ] is what the bat file looks like

I have devices file setup AMD newest drivers

edit: The download on biz doesnt work i think. I downloaded the one on burst forums and its working now.

I notice that plotting a disk drive running windows cpu plotter doesnt start on 0 nonce why is this? If plotting main drive can you still start on 0 nonce?

Great video.

...but I don´t like the music, sorry @crow  Tongue

Maybe it is a little bit too long. But it takes time to tell all the amazing features of the coin.

So, really good work!

No apology necessary, my style isn't for everyone. But I think it fits the video nicely...

About the length... Yea, it's hard to fit all of BURST's awesome features into any shorter a video. But I think overall it's really good.

This is a little request for dev team.
When you will be writing new version of wallet, could you add the option for input of your own password? because at the moment i think it is easy to get into wallet if you leave your desktop logged in/unlocked.

If it is possible and not complicated, this would be great addition to security.

Another thing that I did not have time to try yet but I will over the weekend is that if I copy the .txt file with encrypted passphrase to different wallet on different computer will I be able to load wallet through account manager?

You can definitely back your password up in another location. You can also make your password whatever you'd like.    You don't have to use the auto-generated password, but... I would definitely suggest making your password 50+ characters, so make sure you back it up SAFELY and EXACTLY as you typed it, or you could lose access to your account.

Remember, with BURST, your passphrase is your private key, it's a bit different than BTC type wallets. Thanks!

edit- answering second question, yes, it is also compatible with mobile wallets. But yes, you can copy to another system as well.

We will likely do a second layer of encryption on the password manager, as right now, I agree, it isn't as secure as it could be... It was built for ease of use, and it does save encrypted, but if someone has access to your computer and knows what they're doing, they could potentially get into your wallet. So we will be reworking the way that works in the future.

What I recommend is saving your password in an encrypted zip file, THEN encrypted with the windows wallet, so that you  have more security.

[ANNouncement] - NEW BURST professional PR video released!

Also, CrowdFund to be started today for funding for more videos of this quality! I will post about that later today when I get back from a few errands. Smiley

Here we are folks, our newest professional PR video, which I wrote the music for... enjoy!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1cF_a9kSbE

CrowdFund will be started later today for more videos like this, thanks!

Also, just an FYI - the multi million dollar company that I'm now CTO for... will likely use our coins for multi hundred thousand USD money transfers here in the near future.

I'm also going to speak to the owner of a 54 year old barber shop locally who will be the first brick and mortar company to accept BURST as payment, and he only accepts cash right now and has for the entire time he's been in business!

More soon! Wink

I like the part where the logo bursts at the end Smiley

Good, clean looking video accompanied by decent music listing pretty much all features.

I would think about making a shorter video which drives home the killer features in a more concise way

Otherwise, I am satisfied Cheesy

Great video, I am loving it and I am sure many others do too.
