This is a little request for dev team.
When you will be writing new version of wallet, could you add the option for input of your own password? because at the moment i think it is easy to get into wallet if you leave your desktop logged in/unlocked.
If it is possible and not complicated, this would be great addition to security.
Another thing that I did not have time to try yet but I will over the weekend is that if I copy the .txt file with encrypted passphrase to different wallet on different computer will I be able to load wallet through account manager?
You can definitely back your password up in another location. You can also make your password whatever you'd like. You don't have to use the auto-generated password, but... I would definitely suggest making your password 50+ characters, so make sure you back it up SAFELY and EXACTLY as you typed it, or you could lose access to your account.
Remember, with BURST, your passphrase is your private key, it's a bit different than BTC type wallets. Thanks!
edit- answering second question, yes, it is also compatible with mobile wallets. But yes, you can copy to another system as well.
We will likely do a second layer of encryption on the password manager, as right now, I agree, it isn't as secure as it could be... It was built for ease of use, and it does save encrypted, but if someone has access to your computer and knows what they're doing, they could potentially get into your wallet. So we will be reworking the way that works in the future.
What I recommend is saving your password in an encrypted zip file, THEN encrypted with the windows wallet, so that you have more security.
