What are some good assets to invest in that are active right now?  Any opinions?

You can't go wrong with ByteEnt, Burstsize, Bursteam and Burstaker assets all are run by the dev and co. Burstaker assets seem are cheap at the moment under 100 Burst coins each. Byteemini is also another good asset if you are lucky to get a hold of some.

Good luck and I'm sure all these assets I mentioned will make you some good amount of money in the long term. All pay monthly dividends.

-[ANNouncement]- BURST.ninja missed payouts to be paid to bonus address

There were some missed payouts on burst.ninja that were sent to the pool fee address, these payouts will be sent to ninja's bonus address and paid out to miners shortly, sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks!

356,104 paid out to BURST.ninja bonus address, miners should receive their cuts shortly. Thanks!

People, when something goes wrong with our pools, we make it right for our miners. Crowetic and I have both paid out in excess of 500,000 Burst from our personal wallets to cover potential losses due to the forking problem. As stated above, 350K Burst in payments that got stuck due to DB corruption just got paid out to the Ninja pool. If you mine with us, your income is guaranteed. We will not let our miners be penalized, even for events outside of our control.

If you want to mine with us, welcome. We have multiple pools targeted at different sized miners. The major pools are: burst.ninja , pool.burst-team.us . If you want to mine these pools you really want to have 10TB or more - the very low acceptable Deadline Times are not good for smaller miners.

For miners under 10TB, we have two alternative pools: pool.burstcoin.biz and pool.burstcoin.eu . For miners under 10TB, either pool is good for you. .EU was designed for the smallest miners, and .BIZ for larger ones, but there is no restriction - mine on whatever pool you feel most comfortable on.

Thanks for mining with us, and helping make Burst the coin it can be.

-[ANNouncement]- BURST network monitoring site with ads backing BURSTize asset

Thank you to luxe for the design, much appreciated!

This site will tell you the network status, pool status, and assets (will be added to ad supported version shortly, currently on non-ad supported version.) I'm asking if CrowdFunds can be added in the near future.

We're also working on the CF site redesign now as well!

https://monitor.burst-team.us/

thanks!

original site without ads util.burst-team.us:8888 (currently has a bit more, that will be added to the ad supported site soon.)

Pool Status and Assets are working in the beta code, we're running the released code. As soon as that code is published, monitor.burst-team.us will be updated to the new code.

Long time since my last visit. It seems things have changed quite a bit and I'm glad of this ! Now Burst wallet offers an integrated plotting and miner ?

By the way, I'll be releasing my asset before the end of the month.

Welcome back after a long time away from here.

I'm interested in your asset, will it be paying monthly dividends like most of the other assets?

I assume that ninja is the biggest pool in terms of TB? However because of the minimum deadline it is relatively small in terms of miners submitting. Typically you will see only 60 Miners responding and 80 nonces being submitted. Several of the other pools have more miners and more nonces being submitted.

I feel that ninja should easily be able to cope with this sort of load and that the forking and other problems that we see must be related to something in the system design? Compared to a Bitcoin Pool ninja is tiny and if Burst is to grow then pools ought to be able to support more than 60 miners?

The forking is not an issue with the pool software, it's caused by the wallet. When we first moved to the new wallet we tried a different setup to avoid forking, by requiring the pools to confirm blocks mined with the rest of the network, and not with other pools. This turned out to be the worst possible thing we could have done and lead to the frequent forks of a couple of weeks ago. We've now gone the other way, and made every one of our pools a "well known peer" of each other, this has mostly stabilized the forking. There are still occasional forks, most of which are brief and the wallets quickly get back in sync. However with the number of wallets that peer with the main pool wallets, its possible for a fork to be accepted by enough of the network that it becomes difficult for the two forks to resolve the difference. We're looking at ways of fixing that.

I/O Digital Where Dreams Become Technology
I would like to offer 4*20000 burstcoin to 4 of the smallest pools so that they can be used to waiver fees for a certain period of time or pay "socialised bonuses" to miners. This should hopefully help attract more miners and spread the hash power for at least few weeks.

Using FrilledShark's pool review spreadsheet as reference:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KHu9BWwy_QXIYAx2m_Tzs9BqPoTYUDhEDbHihZEXGsE/edit#gid=81124645

the smallest pools are (with the exception of elmit's pool):

tross
tomahawkeer
notabeliever
Adam Guerbuez

If any of you guys are interested in taking up this offer, pm me your address and I will send you the 20000
