We still have a lot more updates planned but this upgrade moved us forward quite a bit.

Yes, https://coins.newbium.com will be very similar to Steemit, Facebook, etc as a social media site where anyone can post content.  But keep in mind that we are focused only on crypto related content.  Also we are already a leader in real time crypto market information with the visualization part of newbium.  So with real time crypto market information + crypto related user generated content, we are already seeing something very unique taking shape.

The rewards system is still being fleshed out but it will definitely reward those who provide content.  We have not decided if voting will be used but sharing is one action which is already confirmed.  So users will be rewarded for sharing content to social media even if they are not the original posters of the content.

The reputation system will also be integrated into the rewards system....we intend to build a meritocracy so that only those who provide the best content (analysis, news, information, etc) will have the best ranking.

Although we can see various monetization options our focus at this point is to get the content generation cycle started.  The more high quality content we generate on the platform the more our organic reach increases and the more users we will attract. The more users we have the more we can monetize....revenue streams we have already highlighted are subscriptions and commissions from shapeshift trading.

We are already working on each post having it's own link so that it is sharable on the web, also social share buttons will be included on all post.  

This feature is in the update scheduled to be pushed out later today.

Once Newbium social media platform becomes fully functional then our coin will receive more promotion.

Yes, we are similar in that users will be rewarded for posting content.

But we are also different because Steemit has every kind of content on the site.  Newbium will only have content related to crypto's.

I think newbium dev team should start thinking of a better way to promote this coin may be signature or something in order to increase peoples interest.

1) The Newbium rewards system will incentivise users to post content (analysis, news, update, how to's, guides, etc) about crypto's while also rewarding those who engage with that content.

2) The Newbium reputation system shall be added to enhance the quality of the content generated by users.  

3) The rewards & reputation system will be built on top of the Newbium information sharing platform (social media) @ http://coins.newbium.com  

4) http://coins.newbium.com is linked directly to http://newbium.com and is undergoing extensive work.


This work is in line with Newbium's mission which is providing tools for humanity's great blockchain migration.
