is there a NXT asset?

Yes - I issued it - but most of it has been redeemed and I put it on the back burner.
sorry man...i don't understand that slang...can you say it simplier?

I issued NFDGate, it sold completely, about 85% of it has been redeemed, and I'm not re-issuing any more because it's served its purpose.

Recently there was a commit on bitbucket. Somebody added a new API call  getAllAccounts.
Testnet: http://woll-e.net:9876/nxt?requestType=getAllAccounts

Wink

Oh, Thank you, will these API been added on next release?

Yes it will.

Is this NFD specific or is it also in NXT?

It's NFD specific.

How can i get some coins on the testnet? so i can test to issue assets, and also paying dividend.

Send me a pm with your testnet NFD  address.

NFD Network Security Coin is great, thanks the Devs hard works

What is NFD Network Security Coin?  Shocked
He probably means it will become security coin after merged from nxt core features will be implemented

Please always ask! We try to answer all questions.

NFD is a peer to peer coin. The security of our coin based (besides other things) on a network with forging nodes.
The more forging nodes the more blockchain security.
Everyone is able to contribute to the security of NFD by running a client which is forging.
If someone forged a block he/she gets the fee of the transactions which are included in the forged block.
At the moment there is only every 5th to 10th block a transaction.
We developed a bot  to transfers an asset to every account which forged a block, to increase the incentive to run a forging node (not all are altruistic).
This asset is tradable in our asset exchange. The development team will buy back this assets for certain prices. This is an additional revenue for a forger.
It's also possible and welcome if someone else buy this assets to a even higher price. This is a direct contribution to the security of NFD.
Every stakeholder should be interested to contribute.

Example:
I forged 50 blocks on Wednesday. I got 15 NFD in total because of some transaction fees. This is not much.
The new bot will send me additional 50 NFD NSC assets on Friday. For every forged block one.
Now I can go to asset exchange and sell this assets to a specific price. Currently there is a bid order at 100 NFD per asset.
I can now sell my 50 NFD NSC assets for a price of 100 NFD each.
In total I will get 5000 NFD for this assets as additional revenue for forging.

Conclusion:
If you forge a block you will get additional NFD masked as NSC asset!

Shorter:
Forge!  Grin

I'll try forging for a while to try out those assets Smiley

EDIT: Can you close the client and NRS once you activate forging? as long as you keep your system running?

You can close your browser but your client must run.

What is NFD Network Security Coin?  Shocked

It's an NFD asset that adds an incentive for forgers to keep forging. Any forger that signs a block gets one of them sent to his or her account. There's a nice buy wall for them in the Asset Exchange, so any forger who gets once can sell it for NFD Smiley

I have looked at the problem in more detail. There is no function to get an asset balance of an account. At least I didn't found one.

I think the API is
http://localhost:8876/nxt?requestType=getAccount&account=AccountID

the response contains the asset, followed balanceQNT.

I am now trying to make a web based asset holder listing.
use the java-script and API to
first get all accounts,
list all the account's asset balance.
and finally i can get the holder and balance list of a specific assets.

How do you get all accounts with the API?
I could write or modify a API call for this, if this is for you more handy.

With the debug trace approach you could  get a snapshot of shareholders for any time. This could be interesting if you like to distribute dividends to shareholders, who hold the coin to a certain time.

I have never do a java code, so i do not know how to access the nxt.debugtrace.
I have writing some html and java-script things, so what i am much familiar with the api provided.
I can search all blocks, and search all transaction, then i can get all accounts that at least have one transaction.
this is what i planed to do, it might be slow as the blocks becomes bigger.
the other problem is use this methods, i can only find the asset distribution situation when the search happened.
however this is tolerable if i just want to distribute dividend
