...
EDIT: He could also mean nxtblocks.info or http://nxtexplorer.com/

Both have no shareholder function.

Not to misunderstand me, I think we and NXT really need this function.
I will add it to my discovery TODO list.

I think this is the value of a good block explore, like the nxt block explore, you can check asset holder list easily.

Which nxt explorer do you mean?

http://nxtreporting.com/ is not working anymore:

"Due to the high complexity of this analysis and increasing number of transactions, we had to stop the shareholder analysis for now.
We are working on a solution to make this service available for you again.
All shareholder data as of August 22nd 2014."

I check it, and it is working perfectly.

I checked "Token" there is no list.
I checked "mgwBTC" there is a list but look at the footer:
"Last checked 24 days ago, find here a detailed version"
After click on "detailed  version" it shows above message.

That sounds difficult for me,
I think there is other way to pay the dividend by put a buy order at a higher price.
This way is easy to perform, but the asset will be a one time asset which is less attractive, since it will be much operation for the asset holder

...

The problem is how i can get a list of asset holder of my issued asset, in that way i can pay the dividend.
Does anyone knows?

Iirc  there is not such a specific API call. Sad
You would have to get all transactions, filter transactions by type, add and subtract asset quantities to accounts (asset transfer, asset buy, asset sale)  to know who had an asset to a specific timestamp.

I think the best way to keep a coin with value is a buy force.
here is my idea to create a "buy force"
Setup  asset, use the NFD to invest in profitable business, like mining or stock of exchange, or as a loan in exchange.
and use the profit to buy NFD back and pay as dividend.
This way we can change NFD from money to capital.
and I think this is one reason how the nxt get it's value.

how is the jl777 multigateway process? we expected that NFD will join?

Sorry I had no time to analyse mgw and how NFD can "join".

Nor have I, to be frank.

to make NFD part of Supernet?

Yes, or at least the multigateway. Trouble is, NFD doesn't qualify for the core - but NFD could be used to access its services as a regular coin. There just wouldn't be any revenue sent NFD's way, as there would be for the core coins.

Trouble is, hooking NFD up requires integrating James' library - and that library is written in C.

STILL HODLING

Thanks! So am I, of course. Smiley

Unfortunately, in a sense, the sell wall @ 2 satoshis has mostly regenerated. So if anyone shied off from taking advantage, you can still get all that you want at 2. I'm saying this in part because I'll likely take advantage of it myself sometime tomorrow. Smiley

I know, we're slow off the gate, but I increasingly think that the altcoin bear market is coming to an end. Dogecoin's close to four times its low, and there is a new excitement around here. Even NTX is waking up, believe it or not.

Unfortunately, NFD hasn't benefitted so far but it's still early...

Hi folks!

I'm wondering if making the NFD coin rarer (destroying x amount of coins), could be a quick solution to the NFD coin price problem?

The price problem has been there since the coin got out on the BTER exchange. It wont budge pricewise no matter what the devs do, so in my opinion,
we need to think about utilizing every no-dirty-trick we can think of, to force the price upwards. And making the coin rarer, might be one of those tricks the dev team can use.

Development resources and investors will flock to the coin, if the price starts to climp, and coin rarity is normally a price incentive to get the snowball moving!
Alot of us coin holders, have been sitting on this coin now, for months and hoping to see a change pricewise..but no luck so far..so coin rarity might be a solution.

I can not destroy the property of another person!
You can destroy your own coins and buy new coins, but why would you do that?
Destroying your coins will have no  impact on the exchange rate.

We need to attract new investors. We need an investor who pumps the coin to 50 sats. That would be enough to pay all the fancy (smart contracts) and nice things (simple client) from developer bounty account. This would  add more value to NFD, which rises the price, which let us develop more, that rises the price, ... we need someone who starts the train.
