Are you kidding?

Yes. That's why I'm working on getting NFD listed on an established exchange. The Sharex scam actually scared us off from announcing bounties for an exchange listing. Even absent that scandal, I suspect that there are a lot of new exchanges thrown together cheaply for the sole purpose of snapping up exchange bounties. Owners like these are honest enough, but their exchanges will go nowhere and they won't really care because they want the bounties.

EDIT: I've got the aforementioned exchange pre-pegged as one that's run by a more-or-less honest owner who listed NFD because (s)he wants to make money from the volume. But that exchange's volume is still piddling.

[And a really off-kilter order book relative to the trading thread. One NFD is offered for sale at 55 satoshis and - get this ! - there's a bid for 92.99989140 NFD at 50 satoshis! That one bid and one offer is the entire book at the moment.]

I'd suggest using not only NFDQORA as an example, but also using saamxx as a personal example on how to run a gateway. We NFDers have been blessed by having our first gateway set up and run by someone honest and diligent with redemptions.

Mechanically, the process is straightforward:

1. Open up your NFD browser wallet, if it's not already open.
2. Click the "Asset Exchange" tab on the left.
3. You'll see four sub-choices. Click "Issue Asset": it's the fourth.
4. After clicking, you'll see a form pop up. Put in your asset name, something like "MyNewcoinGateway",and then fill in the description. Please include a tl;dr of your redemption policy! Feel free to start a thread on your gateway, like saamxx did, and include the link in your description.
5. Now, fill in the quantity. Please, please, please make sure that your gateway is fully backed (or overly backed) by your holdings of the underlying coin! No fractional-reserve shenanigans, please.
6. The decimals field is pretty much self-explanatory. You can confine the number of decimal places your asset will trade in to whole numbers, two digits, any digits you please up to eight.
7. Once you're done click "Issue Asset" and fork over the 10,000 NFD to some lucky forger.
8. Once your asset is issued, it's time to set up an IPO. Cut-and-paste your Asset ID, look back at the "Asset Exchange" tab, click the top subchoice [conveniently labeled "Asset Exchange" also] and you'll see the Asset Exchange page. Look to the top right, click the "Add Asset" button, and enter in the Asset ID of your new gateway.
9. The name of your asset should now appear at the top leftish part of your client. Click it and you'll see an empty marketplace.
10. Now comes the somewhat tricky part. After you issue the asset, you own all of the quantities. To get them in other hands, you have to place a sell order on your asset's marketplace. Mechanically, this is easy: the tricky part comes with deciding the right price (in NFD, of course) for your IPO. What you want to sell your other coins for - that's up to you.

After that, the market forces kick in and all you have to do is maintenance work. Unless your real name is Mark Karpeles, in which case you'll have to do a lot more.

I haven't seen this exchange before , I would rather avoid this exchange and wait for bittrex or poloniex. Has anybody traded on this exchange before ?

The price is very low.

Nothing yet from Polo. I'm still waiting on Bittrex-Bill to answer my latest PM. Still hopin' for an edge.

If I don't hear from him, I'll apply formally to Bittrex via Email. I (and a few others) have already asked Poloniex to put NFD on their voting list, but our requests might as well have been forwarded to dev/null for all the response we've seen.

Nxtblg did  a request to poloniex and some others also. Until now we didn't get a response.

we sure need a trading platform and poloniex is good exchange .Lets see when we get listed there .

Would like to remind that NTX coin is now on 5th place in the voting list on Poloniex, so it might be wise to speed things up
to get NFD coin up and go on some proper exchange(s), sooner rather than later!
