Great idea! Hopefully this will help get people interested in forging now that they will hopefully actually see some results.
We started a new network bounty bot.
The bot sends every minute 0.00000001 NFD to account 111 with a fee of 25 NFD. A transaction has a deadline of 5 minutes.
The network bounty account is NFD-BM65-Z57M-LGNK-5HCMK
There will be still blocks without a fee. Please comment and make suggestions.

What's the highest amount one can get by forging?
The amount earned from forging is equal to the amount of fees included in the block.
Since the minimum fee is 1, you will earn at least 1 coin per transaction in the block. Sometimes there may be 5 transactions (mimimum 5 coins as a fee), there may be 200 transactions (minimum 200 coins as a fee), or sometimes there may be 0 transactions, really depends on timing/luck.
It's difficult at this time to use a calculator or other tool to estimate the earnings from forging.
Even if your income from forging (at the moment) is low, please leave your wallet open and forging to strengthen the network.
*As a side note, I've been using my forged balance to make lots of transactions with higher fees and hope others will do the same*

another possibility:

move you mouse over "Confirmations" of your first outgoing transaction.
You have to wait for 1440 confirmations to forge.

12373-11449 = 924
You outgoiing transaction have 924 confirmations, but you need 1440.
1440-924=516
516 blocks left.
Current average block generation time is 88 seconds.
516*88/3600= 12,61h
You have to wait another half day, then you should be possible to start forging.

The two blocks you forged probably didn't have any transactions inside! I've had a few like that so far with 0 transactions and 0 fees, I got lucky and hit on one that had 3,000nfd as a fee...
Myself, I got lucky with forging N2. One block's fees were so big, I scratched my head and wondered, "who sent me that?"
But of all 13 N2 blocks I've forged, only two have had fees greater than 10. Eight of the blocks have had a total fee of 1...

Since the network is still quite young and there aren't too many transactions at the moment, we should all be making some small transactions or messages to ourselves to step up transaction volume (and some fees) in our growing network as well as encourage forging for a healthy network. A few coins here and there as fees isn't much, and it would encourage people to forge as well as improve network strength. (Even seeing 1 coin as a forging reward is better than 0...)If I find the time tonight, I will setup a bot which sends every minute a transaction with up to 100 NFD as fee.
