Run a Bitcoin node.
I'm new to WestHash, please excuse me if these questions have been answered already:
1) Does KnCMiner Neptune work ok on NiceHash?
2) Why are the SHA-256 payouts on NiceHash so much better than mining Bitcoin recently?

Is there anyway to set a static diff.  I set my password to d=1024 but then it keeps climbing over time.

Note: Your miner may sometimes work with lower or higher difficulty since the difficultly you set is only a preferred difficulty and the actual difficulty depends on the current orders at NiceHash. This is completely normal.

Lyra2RE algorithm added.

SETTINGS:
Here are some recommended settings:

"pools" : [
        {
                "name" : "NiceHash_Lyra2RE",
                "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3342",
                "user" : "your-BTC-address",
                "pass" : "d=1",
                "algorithm" : "Lyra2RE",
                "nfactor" : "10",
                "xintensity" : "64",
                "thread-concurrency" : "8192",
                "gpu-engine" : "1050",
                "gpu-memclock" : "1500",
                "worksize" : "64",
                "gpu-threads" : "2"
        },

Download miner from here:
https://github.com/metalicjames/sgminer-Lyra2RE/releases
https://github.com/metalicjames/ccminer-Lyra2RE/releases

These miners should also work well on other algorithms, but we haven't checked if all algorithms optimizations are included.

MULTIALGO:
Lyra2RE is disabled on multilago by default (because currently you have to use a special sgminer fork and the transition will take a while, I guess). But nevertheless if you want to use multialgo you can still use it by manually adding Lyra2RE factor to your pool's password setting, for example:

"pass" : "d=1;f0=0;f2=0;f3=8.5;f4=4.5;f5=500;f6=3.5;f7=14;f8=0.35;f9=1.25",

(as always, remember to add this to all your NiceHash/WestHash pools entries, not only for the new Lyra2RE entry).

you can put it on multialgo, no change in speeds when you copy cgminer.conf and already compiled bin files from other versions of cgminer

I tried Westhash and it works fine.
By the way, for those who live in East coast, USA, which one would be better, westhash or nicehash?
Thanks

For what its worth. Since the introduction of westhash and of course the equal payment system, I've had all miners on westhash with very little issues.
Basically if you're in US/Canada etc go westhash. EU/Asia Stick to nicehash? Although china does have good connectivity to west coast USA.

So decided to upgrade my units to use the extranonce patch at westhash/nicehash.

To cut a long story short:

-Step one was to upgrade the firmware to antminer_S320141126.bin. The result was: my units mined perfectly well on AntPool but on any other pool including Westhash, they dropped below 100 GHS.

- I tried most of the suggestions on the Bitmain discussion thread and elsewhere...but to no avail.

- In the end, I went back to original firmware. While doing so, one of my S3s got stuck for about 30 minutes while i was flashing it. Now i cannot connect to that S3. Even the reset button did not help me. That S3 is now incommunicado. Luckily, I still have 2 weeks left on its warranty and can likely do an RMA.
Same thing happened to me when I decided to update to 11/26 ver.
Hash rate dropped a lot so I returned to 10/26 ver, which runs fine

How does it get you those results?

in the latest firmware you need to go into advanced and set mhz and voltage

std voltage is 0.725

Hi,

any thoughts about supporting the great Coin Magi M7M algorithm with NiceHash?

Thanks for response.
I haven't set #xnsub and it worked fine until yesterday... Sad

Can you please post the contents of your .bat file or config file here? Smiley

   ~~MZ~~

Hi, I am not sure if this will be enough info, but this is what I got from antminer page.

cgminer --bitmain-options 115200:32:8:18:225:0882 -o stratum+tcp://Betarigs -O ID:PW -o stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3334 -O ID:PW -o stratum+tcp://us1.ghash.io:3333 -O ID:PW --api-listen --api-network --bitmain-checkn2diff --bitmain-hwerror --version-file /usr/bin/compile_time --queue 4096

I am running rigs in two different places and rigs at the other place runs fine although I don't have enough time to confirm (just set up 1 hr ago).
The other thing is it used to be fine until yesterday. Sad

 Got my PB Mining payout early tonight. It was about 45 % lower than usual.

What are the fees like here?  I like to use PBmining but know I see that they've collapsed?

All are cheaper than buying rigs. Check 'em out here: http://www.rigwarz.com/

Bitcoin Cloud Services: has the best payout. It's daily and equivalent to btcguild or ghash for 1 THS... but not as good as NiceHash.

PB Mining: pays a bit less than Bitcoin Cloud Services. I will get my PB Mining weekly payout in about 8 hours. Then, I can tell you better if they have collapsed. I had no problem logging in to their site just now. I doubt that they have collapsed.

Cloud Mining.website: is very cheap to buy. It's payouts are lower than the other two. So, It will take me over 140 days to break even with it. But that's better than buying more S3s.

Re: Ponzis: There are always suspects and those who call everything a ponzi. As far as I'm concerned, who really knows for sure which site is  actually a ponzi in the mining world. My heart even drops into my shoes when i buy from Bitmain (and i know they are one of the most trustworthy). Some are even calling GAW a Ponzi- lol!

Anyway, the best thing to do is to diversify. That way, if one is actually a Ponzi in about 5 months, then you haven't lost everything.

Here's how you tell. If you can not point the hashpower to any pool of your chosing, then it is most likely a ponzi.
