Use darkcoin miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=475795.0;all

sgminer -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3336 -u yourbtcaddrhere -p x -I 18 -g 4 -w 128

I get waiting for work to become available.
did you set price (-p p=x) to high?

Bummer.  There are still some strange issues going on with my AntMiner S1s working against the pool with "price" thresholds.

I just came home and found my two test AntMiner S1s hung ... they *said* the NiceHash pool was alive ... but they were NOT mining it ... and they were NOT mining my backup pools.

Both were mining earlier in the day, and then when the 0.06 contracts expired, they fell back to the backup pools.  That is where they were when I left the house.  I come home and realized they were in some strange state ... not mining NiceHash nor the backup pools.

I had to restart the miners, and then they immediately jumped back to the backup pools as there are no 0.06 contracts.

Something is broken ...

ckolivas informed me, that idlebug is fixed in latest cgminer. Do you use latest cgminer?

Is it possible to set failover for sph-sgminer for different algorithms?
I believe it could be done with .conf file.

So iz would be something like :
if (x11) p<1 than go to (scrypt)

If anyone is already using that, can you paste your config plz?

Try to run it with some logging options and then paste content of file here.

Ok, it was a bit difficult getting log file as the default antminer S1 settings hides cgminers display.  So had to kill process and run my own cgminer outputting to log file.

Ran it for 5 mins.

Nicehash website says ~60% reject rate.

The only thing that comes to my mind is that this miner is modifying ntime. We don't allow modified ntimes, because we have no methods to evaluate whether modified ntime would be accepted by remote pool or not. There should be a way to force miner not to modify ntime; in fact, there is plenty of extranonce2 size so the ntime doesn't have to be modified. Guess that is the change compared to older miner.
ntime is modifed. As is valid on all good pools.

This has been sorted out. One thing is still unclear to me - could not find any documentation regarding that. Simple example: pool sends work at time t, miner sends back share at time t+2, but with ntime t+1. Is this valid share? By logic I would say yes.

This is known idlebug in cgminer that has been there since the start.

Thx for X11. Testing.  Smiley

Done.

I use sph-sgminer ( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-sph-sgminer-multi-coin-multi-algorithm-gpu-miner-added-marucoin-475795 ). When set " -p p=1.1 " 100% reject. When set " -p x " all fine. Diff work good ( -p d=0.04 ).

So what i must do. I wanna set lower price and dont` get 100% reject  Cheesy

Using kalroths version I get 2.4Mh on scrypt but get constant rejects some error above target diff. But wen I use your miner I only get 1.9Mh (even though all the parameters are the same)Huh?? Dafuq
try setting diff. Use d=512 or even d=1024 for password (ex. -p d=1024). Let me know it if works for you.
Nicehash miner works fine and accepts(no change to diff) but kalroths fails even when I set the diff high or low

wheres all the SHA miners at?  Throw a peta at this thing..

Ha ha ... at 0.05?  SHA mining at those prices is more profitable elsewhere ...

Several questions on X11.
What software do you recommend to use for X11 mining at NiceHash with AMD GPUs? The last SPH-sgminer with -k darkcoin? Or your own "nicehash" version of sgminer with "fixed idlebug"? If last one - what kernel to use? Can I use zuikkis somehow (it gave me the best speed on scrypt) or it is not possible and I must copy darkcoin.cl from sph version?

Try two:

They seem to have eaten my post, so I'll try again...

I'm getting a bunch of "false positives" running a version of CPUMiner that does X11 (I've used it on DarkCoin before).

Any clues what that means?
Are you talking about the idlebug?
My miner doesn't work neither for X11. It send few share then it stay idle. I do not put any setting in the password. Also for Scrypt I've never had problem with NiceHash before (as long as I don'T not add price settings in the password).

Well, it seem I have a problem with my miner. It do the same thing with the Blackcoin Pool.

@CoinBuzz:

Thanks for the answer, I hadn't run X11 in debug before, and I never saw it with scrypt.  Guess I'll be turning that off.
