I think this is a technology transfer. It's possible that switching from NEP5 to ERC is a foolish thing but if you look at the current market, the ERC is still a good choice for everyone. Personally, I still like the NKN to have its own unique technology and own Blockchain system, but this trend is decreasing because the value of all coins is decreasing so much recently.

This is really a big foolish... I can't understand why they moved to ETH if they going make own blockchain? Or they no longer going to launch own blockchain? In this way better to move on Tomo blockchain (as they have faster TPS and near zero transactions).

What "unique technology" you mean? They still don't have nothing as I know as product and mainnet not launched...

I had problems installing the miner, but after I reported a bug in Github it was fixed in a few days.
Version 0.0.8 worked fine and when accessing: http://127.0.0.1:8181/web/#/main from the same
computer wallet is installed to, I can see the walelt syncing and number of earnings there.

The only question which still remain nanswered is: Do tNKN tokens earned on test net have value?
Can they be swapped for normal NKN tokens?

the swap is to allow the token to be easily added to other exchanges. because most exchanges hate how the Neo side tokens works. and wont implement it.
so by switching to Erc20 tokens, it will allow easy access to bigger exchanges before the main net release in june.
overall its a good move, only if we do get on more exchanges, a lot more people would know and buy NKN if we were trading on Binance or Bithumb or any of the big ones.
Erc20 swap Greatly increases the chance of this happening

2018 has closed and it is time for budgets, goals and estimates; in 2018 there was the development and the release of NKN's open source software and the launch of both a preview and public testnet, with almost 6000 nodes hosted by the community.
On the business side there have been partnerships with important companies such as IoTex, Tip, Portal Network, etc.

It's interesting, when NKN got away for a cause even competing alongside hundreds of other projects and managed to get away, this is a boast. given that the NKN is a fairly new project indicates that the NKN is a project that has a great potential.
