What makes this better than MasterCoin?

And whats up with the deposit multipliers.. it seems kind of sketchy. I like the way MasterCoin was started better... no multipliers at all, there was a direct linear correlation to the number of BTC sent in and the number of MasterCoins received.

Wow, I didn't realize that this was progressing so quickly.

How will you be reconciling the incorrect/not specified deposits?  What if someone hasn't been keeping up to date with this and actually has their deposit as incorrect/not specified?  Or what if someone used a web wallet with incompatible messaging abilities?

In that case wouldn't those coins be unprovable?  Will those be chucked into the faucet or something?

I can do escrow if you like, been trading a lot in the MSC thread..

Once the client is available, I'm fine with using you for escrow.  What is your fee?  I'll split the fee with Noitev.
No fee, tip as you wish!

EDIT: Until we have an exchange, we will need an order book like this: Order book

If anyone wants to sell me 1 million Nxt @ 1 Btc, I'll buy it!  Nxt is a steal at that price.
I changed my mind. I don't sell at that price anymore.

Oh come on!  lol   Grin

I'll sell 1 million NXT for 1 BTC  Grin

If you are serious, then I accept your offer.  Nxt @ 0.000001 btc is an investment I can't afford to miss.

just curious, how much Nxt are there gonna be? and how much got acquired with the 21 btc?

1 billion. This is the answer to both questions.

so the genesis block "sponsors" got all of the coins ever to exist?

Yes.

What about the mining thing? I have a lot of question, I was very busy lately to get involved here but this will change.

In addition what do I have to do in order to make my iMac (i3, Osx 10.6.8 ) a bootstrap server?
Is it worth it? Security issues?

I am not familiar to hosting so maybe I talk nonsense...(EDITED)

Mining is done by a client all the time an account is unlocked. U can mine on a low-end computer.

To run a bootstrapping node u must have a static IP address or a dynamic one with a static domain name.
How is mining compatible with 1bn coins ever to exist?  Huh

We invested ~21 BTC which is one millions of total BTC supply. If Nxt goes on par with Bitcoin then 1 NXT should be equal to 0.001 BTC. Hm, the same result. Math can't lie.  Cheesy
wrong: if Nxt go par with bitcoin then each Nxt=(21Million/1Billion)* 1000=21mBTC so there will be Nxt=0.021 btc

I think we should wait until Sunday evening for those 7 guys to recorrect their hashes.

Okay bitdraw people knew you won't buy at that price, what's more?! I personally do not sell at that 1BTC=1M Nxt, but will give away several thousands of Nxt to some friends to play with as well Wink

"if Nxt go par with bitcoin" Wink

giving away to friends is always nice to get them into cryptos, keep it up! do it myself too and already created some enthusiasts Smiley

anways, cya and gl with Nxt

U seem to be right... But 21 BTC still looks suspicious.
