Aren't we already have chosen a secret phrase when we made our double-SHA hash?
These r different phrases. Use the same if u wish, just don't tell it to anyone.
- no, the OP says
....
A special message must be attached to the transaction.  This should be done via blockchain.info which supports such the feature.  The message must contain only SHA256 hash, that will be used to claim coins.

Hm... I'll wait for clarification from BCNext then.

So when and how?

I was instructed to create a poll regarding Nxt name with 7-day deadline. So in a week I suppose.

And is there a newer version of client?

No AFAIK.

Is http://88.198.210.245:7875/ working properly?

I login with my secret phrase, but it shows me not the same account number as before and zero balance.

It runs the latest available version. Blockchain was reset though.

So, what is there left to do?

U r supposed to do:
1. Choose a secret phrase
2. Download Nxt client (there was a link 5 pages upthread)
3. Launch the client and use the secret phrase to unlock an account
4. Write down the account id, it will be used to claim NXT

If u r too lazy to download the client:
1. Choose a secret phrase
2. Go to http://88.198.210.245:7875/
3. Use the secret phrase to unlock an account
4. Write down the account id, it will be used to claim NXT

http://88.198.210.245:7875/ is a bootstrapping node owned by me. It's not advised to use it to get the account id coz ur secret phrase can be intercepted by me or someone who monitors ur traffic. If u r unable to run the client then u can take some risk and use my server, but after u get NXT it's better to move the coins to other account ASAP.

Genesis block data:

Address / Hash / BTC / Block / Multiplier / Weight / NXT (approximation!)

Check and quote this post plz.

Yes, I am on there Smiley
So what will we need to claim the nxt? The root of the hash?

I'm on there too (didn't quote the whole thing...).  Curious to know how we claim the Nxt.

So, what is there left to do?  Will BCnxt show up and stop the silliness?

Just did the sum in excel:
 999,963,267.22 Nxt  Smiley

How did u get .22 if all numbers r whole?
Damn that was a copy/paste mistake!
70f4f8240e9b1204637c6a3d00981638d18d2c0bd40ddb2878fec57740b57200 / 0,00073556 / <266699 / 300 / 0,220668 / 36686

So it should be

999,963,267 + 36686 = 999999953

Including unclaimed coins.

What will happen with the NxT that is unclaimed?  Will it be redistributed to the other investors?

There is ~6 million unclaimed according to the genesis block list.

It could be given away via faucet to promote NxT.

There will be 1,000,000,000 coins.  And amounts can be only whole numbers.  Later we can add fractional numbers but now it would be inconvenient.

looks fine (what do you mean by quote?).
so we start with 99 stakeholders. what's next? we definetley need more people - so how do you see the next few steps of NXT evolution?
So how many Nxt in total? I am bored to open a spreadsheet to add them all!

... I am worried and believe BCNext should come ahead and act boldly.

Agree. With all my respect to BCNext, he is too paranoic about FBI/aliens/illuminati, they r not interested in kidnapping of yet-another-cryptocoin creator. I believe that was (unsuccessful) PR attempt. Fortunatelly, we don't need him after the launch.

...and you are too passive about Nxt

I support 2 other cryptocoins as well, I can't dedicate 100% of my time to Nxt alone. I wouldn't say I'm too passive Smiley
