Hey guys
Sorry, the X11 port got put on hold until I can rent another VPS to use for it.  There are too many people who use the wrong miner and wind up saturating the thing with invalid shares to run it on the same box as serves up the Scrypt and SHA stratums.
I will eventually have a port open for it though - I already have two of the X11 coin blockchains downloaded.  If you want to see a X11 coin sooner, consider donating as per the FAQ page

And there are actually three SHA coins currently listed (Bytecoin, Mazacoin and Unobtanium) - more will be added if they are seen to be required to stay nearly as profitable as BTC, yes.  (likely Terracoin would be the next one)

Maza is not listed. We've been mining Bytecoin all day.

And why do the "unexchanged estimates" keep reverting to zero and then back again? Since I added my +2THs of SHA to my little bit of Scrypt (4MHs) I have on the pool, my "unexchanged estimates" don't seem to be growing any faster.

Would you also please clarify the bolded questions in my previous post...

Ok, let me see if I have this right...

You're not going to be mining BTC anymore, right? Thank you! It was pointless to try.

You're going back to mining alt SHA coins and we are to mine only at sha.hashrate.org:5008?

What alt Sha coins will you be mining? You're currently only showing Unobtainium and Bytecoin.

If I add some THs to the pool, aren't we in danger of destroying a weak coin like Bytecoin, lol? I would suggest adding some stronger coins with a higher network hashrate.

Currently I have just over 1THs pointed at hashrate.org:5008. If I add "sha.", will I be mining on BTC p2pool or the alt pool? I'd rather not waste the hash on p2pool.

I understand that you're disabling the p2pool tonight but what is being mined on sha.hashrate.org at this very moment? And when should I switch over from hashrate.org to sha.hashrate.org?

Any info on how to setup X11 mining?
I am assuming CPU mining can be used for X11?

James
./minerd -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://x11.hashrate.org:4008 -u xxxx -p password
gives me errors

The pool seems to be running good...great job....hopefully, the 2 SHA coins that you have included will prove to be profitable enough.  Are there any plans to add more in the near future to allow more profitability switching?

I'm still confused about the SHA mining. You keep pushing the BTC p2pool but your stats are showing other alt SHA coins being mined such as Bytecoin and unobtanium.

If you're mining other alt SHA coins, what's the address to point the miners at? And why don't you integrate the BTC stats into the main site? Frankly, this should have been done before launch. I'd love to point some considerable hashrate your way but I'm not convinced you've worked out all of the kinks yet.

One thing I do appreciate is that you have much more transparency than blackcoinpool. With BCP, you have no way to know what the pool is actually mining. You have to trust that they are mining the most profitable coins and not just attacking weaker, competitor coins. And add to that they just went down with no warning to fix some supposed vulnerability. I have Bitfury rigs that don't have backup pool ability and those rigs just go idle when the pool goes down.

Hey man
If you're still resolving the DNS for the sha.hashrate.org page wrong, refresh your DNS
The merged mining pool will be shut down entirely later tonight and all of it's profits sent out to the miners (are you the big miner on it still?)
The merged altcoins will be mined instead with the SHA, it is far easier to integrate that into the current system than to keep trying the P2Pool way.  I am confident that with the autoswitching we can stay within 1-2% as profitable as BTC anyways (and possibly moreso if we ever sell into an ongoing pump)
