Update on POD:
We've finally had a reply from CryptoAsian (literally a few minutes ago). We are among the next few developers on his list and we will hopefully have something from him tonight.

reading from what your describing it doesn't really show much professionalism of the pod guy to not reply.

Regarding the POD:
We have contacted CryptoAsian multiple times over the past week, despite him being active in other places we have received no reply.
We have submitted all requested documents, emailed him for updates, tried to get a hold of him in IRC, but not even received a courtesy reply.
We've asked him several questions which have all gone unanswered.
We are now in the process of contacting another verifying service, which is run by a senior BCT member here.
As soon as we know more details, or if we do get a reply from CryptoAsian, we will let the community know.
We would like to be verified as much as any of our supporters do.

Apologies for the delay with Opacity - as mentioned before we found some last minute bugs, which in the end meant we decided to rewrite most of the networking code base! This delayed things a little meaning we weren't able to release early (we have worked extra hard to ensure we met our initial release date), but it will also mean that Opal will be even stronger going forwards 
And so, on schedule, here is Opacity: Encrypted Messaging.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: A lot of new code has been added in this update and while you may not have any issues with updating, we recommend you delete all files in your Opal Data Folder (apart from wallet.dat) before opening the new wallet.
