I don't  understand why it is necessary to have an x amount of posts for the registration. People like me just watch all the topics from the side and try to learn etc. Now I get punished for not posting. What sense does it make? Then you should also check if the posts made by that user is even OT on altcoins or btcoins etc. etc.

my 2 cents.

It's not necessary read rules more carefully. When we open up the registrations you will be able to apply like anybody else.

Yeah but I have to do something "extra" because I don't spam this forum with unnecessary posts. I think its unfair.

But there must be some rules to avoid sockpuppets. A minium amount of posts is not a bad idea.

ohh noo!!! I am out..

I think it is unfair the minimum posts requirement...

You're not out!

The rules are simple:
1. You must only register once per household (multiple IPs not allowed).
2. You must fill out all fields of the form properly and follow the instructions.
3. Your BTT account must have a reg date BEFORE today, 06/23.
4. If your account is older than 3 months - 20 posts minimum
5. If your account is younger than 1 month - 40 posts minimum
6. There will be 'extra' requirements for users who do not meet requirements in 4. and 5. above. More details to come
7. You must be one of the first 3000* to register in order to qualify for a stake.

You'll just need to do a bit more on the registration webapp form to support your application!

Kora is for everyone, just not sockpuppets!

What about reading this thread?
You need the NXT account for receiving your stake. The stakes will be listed on the NXT Asset Exchange.

4. If your account is older than 3 months - 20 posts minimum
5. If your account is younger than 1 month - 40 posts minimum
These two rules are simply stupid.

In case the 3000 qouta is not met, what u suppose to do with the remaining stakes

We sure hope to get at least 3000 registrations. If not...well I guess we'll have to keep it open and set up flyers. Wink

If an application is not flagged as a sockpuppet but still is missing something, for example a valid BTT ID because of a typo, we'll want to help fix this. If that don't work we'll just have to re-open the registrations. But only after we know exactly how many invalid stakes we're dealing with.

Can you confirm that you won't be asking for anything stupid to register, like a government-issued id #?  I know it sounds crazy in a cryptocoin, but I've seen that as a suggested requirement on at least one coin.

Yes, we'll not be asking for anything like that. I'm not a fan of sending sensitive information to people I don't know so you won't have to either. We'll do our best to weed out the sockpuppets while respecting your privacy.
