Sometimes in only 3 or 4 days but it can take also much longer.
Big blocks will stake mostly faster (higher weight).
Some of my blocks haven't stake in months, others 3 times a month.
Just a matter of luck.
It's recommended to hold at least about 2000 ORB.
Here you can see a nice example of a wallet that holds less than 2200 ORB
and is having several stakes a week:

Orbitcoin is a small coin with a loyal small but growing community.
There are pretty much wallets staking ORB, Orbitcoin is i.m.o. one of the best PoS coins available.
I think many people hold their ORB because of PoS and the fact that ORB is a pretty rare coin (max 3.77M ORB!)
so it is not strange that the trading volume is low.
The price of Orbitcoin is one of the most stable prices in the CryptoCurrency world!
Even past weeks when many many alts lost pretty much of their worth, Orbitcoin was still very stable.
Orbitcoin is not a pump&dump coin, Orbitcoin is a long term coin.
As for trading volume, its not that bad, there were times when it was much worse. It would be nice to have ORB on some more liquid exchange though. It will come, just lets give it some time

times of 500% staking rate are likely gone and will not return. number of people staking doubled in recent months and looks like its still growing. mining difficulty also seems to be slowly rising.

Whatever. ORBers are typically bagholders due to PoS. Buyers have kept exchange prices relatively strong, even if on low volume. It's not a coin made for PoW mining and dumping, if that's what you're looking for. Cryptopia - No trade volume

Hey Mario, thanks for the reference to iSpace! Did not know about this site. Sent my small pile over there last week, now I don't have to keep my computer on all the time.
So many orphans though — I guess PoS can have the same issues as PoW when diff is high (4.8 now!!)? Could latency in PoS also be an issue like with PoW? (Perhaps questions for @ghostlander!)
