look at exchanges by volume kucoin is no33. exchanges that have lower volumes earn less revenue thus less money and incentive to updated their platform, plus they are a third party with your coins so they cannot be trusted, remember bitgrail? mtgox?

Its kernel is still bloated with other blobs like this. I dont actually know better than that, but it is not 100% in your control. But of course it is noob friendly and way better than wind0ze
That's what I want, just a user friendly linux system. I'm working in terminals whole day long. Don't want to do things the hard way every time Smiley

I work in disability sector, they have unlimited amount data needs to be achieved nationwide. You talk to tec support and most have no idea about the blockchain..
Once oyster protocol is proven, I think marketing would be simple.
Could see business buying prl at wholesale, and selling storage at retail..

Between mainnet launch and IOTA implementing sharding/swarm we will propp up our own tangle.

If you are interested into the details you can see a comment Automyr gave regarding the current speed/storage of Oyster.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Oyster/comments/89sgor/question_about_storage/dwtbbkd/

If you use the testnet right now (http://oysterstorage.com/) it is still using the maintangle - the transactions have the obsolete tag OYSTERTESTNETB if you want to view your upload e.g. on tangle.glumb.de

DAVID CHAUM's xx coin SALE IS NOW LIVE!
PRL is an easy hold the team is solid communicates and the project makes sense
 And this token has utility
 For many people

But it doesn't show any sign of improvement for price and volume. How would they fix that problem?
I think it was overhyped for some reason and that's why we don't like the current price.

Oyster PRL is meant to be a stable asset, due to the peg to anonymous decentralized encrypted storage.

However, the dapp layer of Oyster is a part of the oyster roadmap and was already mentioned in the whitepaper of PRL, but due to the peg, PRL cannot be used to pay for operations and connectivtiy on the Oyster meshnet formed by webnodes.

Therefore another token is needed. Oyster SHL will be used to pay for the dapp operations and connectivity in the Oyster meshnet (and so PRLs keep restricted to the peg of storage.)

This could be links to your interest, if you want to know more about Oyster SHL:

Why is crypto money going out (2mil) instead of in. Whats the partnership?
Every company wants that now. Its not whom verge partnered with that gets me. Its Fortune, Mashable, TheVerge, and Forbes publishing a ready-made article talking about it. And I’m like, “am I the only one seeing what is truly happening here?”

Where do you think all their money is going?  That plus some insider information being passed along.

Devs will be developing their own sharding solution for the Oyster tangle. This would fall under optimization of mainnet. I think that will hold a lot of their attention.

Beta testing Is still underway on the website monetization. It could be ready or it might not be ready. The team wants to make sure everything is dialed in as well as possible before opening it to the public.

That was a bug in the Windows default viewer. That bug is fixed, but theoretically that can still happen for buggy software if you download a picture from anywhere else it's not recompressed. For example, if this sort of bug still existed and someone sent you an image as a file in TG, you downloaded and then opened it, the conequences would be identical to doing the same after downloading it from Oyster

Once the tangle gets organic its game. Storage will be peanuts. Until then more traditional tech will be used, it will work but with alot of overhead.

Never judge a project from its short termed price in market since these are always manipulated at important events. PRL as token has value much more than the current exchanged based suppressed price. This is temporary state will last few more hours until the remaining opportunists are out. Real supporters didn't shake their hands but staying firmly.
I think that here no one doubts that today's price for Prl is absolutely low, this coin will cost much more and soon we will see it!

Oyster is a new protocol that is close to earning an income on the Internet, which is quite different from previous solutions. In my opinion, their idea is unique Smiley

I think upload speeds on testnet were around 2.5kbs. 2 orders of magnitude would be like x100. So probably around 250kbs but could be more.
