Some seasonal investors who entered for snapshot have left by selling but nothing to worry here. In a day or couple market will be green and upward again as main Net is also coming near and distribution of SHL will have their own impacts which moves project back in game. All is well and fine like before nothing has changed.

The tangle deletes old lazy transactions (means they didn't got reattached) if the load on the tangle gets to big - that's why it scales infinitly (long-term spoken - currently the tangle isn't perfectly suited for Oyster yet, that's why we are propping up our own [Oyster] tangle for the transition time, until IOTA implements sharding in their tangle)

Shells (SHL) are used to pay for connectivity and Dapp operation across the Oyster meshnet, whilst Pearls are used for static data retention on the tangle. Shell is not pegged to storage like how Pearl is. In the future you will be able to use Shells to access the decentralized web, connectivity that entirely bypasses ISPs and centralized infrastructure.

How prl plans to spawn their own tangle? Will they reverse engineer coordinator? Iota guys have not open sourced it yet. And as we know that's needed in initial days to avoid 51% attack

Hello I have seen that you relay also on the Tangle as protocol for data storage.
We have seen how much IOTA is full of flaws and red flags, about its network which is unsecure, hackable and not decentralized. So my question is how can you relay on such unsecure network for data storage.

Oyster is happy to announce that the Oyster Shell (SHL) blockchain snapshot has been successfully completed at block number 5436000. The SHL smart contract was deployed earlier today, and can be viewed here

I think, when Asian market wakes up, the price will touch 3k and then will bounce back a week or couple of weeks later. This is the usual trend for most of the snapshots aka free airdrops.

So the tangle storage mechanism I saw was basically using the users computer to do the PoW to upload data to the tangle. This would be fine except for the fact that the PoW includes confirming 2 transactions for every transaction the user makes. In addition to this only 1.3kb of data can be stored in each transaction.
This can make uploading a file extremely extremely long. This also doesn't solve the problem that data falls off the tangle and needs to be reuploaded.
Oyster solves this through paralleling PoW and using webnodes to reattach data to the tangle.

If someone has PRL on Kucoin, in a sell order, is that still included in the snapshot?
"As mentioned in our post from Friday, KuCoin has confirmed that they will be participating in the SHL Airdrop. Since the agreement between KuCoin and Oyster for the SHL airdrop was not finalized until this past Friday and given KuCoin’s busy schedule and limited available development resources, April 6th was not going to be a feasible date to have proper preparations made for the SHL airdrop on the KuCoin platform.
