I am pretty much the only person sha256 mining DUO at cryptopia.
Anyone want to throw some hashes at it as well?

okay.. will do... as long as difficulty is still low.. this will change in some weeks
Changing already.... scrypt difficulty has jumped a lot... from around 1.something to 70 plus...
And sha256 has quadrupled...
Additionally there is a little more buying going on at Cryptopia...
Money supply is only 165570 DUO as of this writing. And we are still 560 days from halving at which point there will be only 500,000 coins..
865 days from then we will have 750,000 coins...
865 more days and we will have 875,000 coins...
865 days more 937,500 coins..
Still not at 1 million coins after EIGHT YEARS....
This is a solid coin... will last quite awhile really... and with both scrypt and sha256... SOMEONE will be securing the blockchain... i.e. mining...

Someone have a Parallelcoin.Conf file for solo mining handy?
I am using standard Parallelcoin.Conf
You just need to enter right IP address of your miner if it is not localhost, so RPC can work.

There was no premine of parallel coin, so all the coins in the rich list have been mined.
Also all the coins that Marcetin has, have been mined by him over a period of 13-14 months.
There are plenty of pools around, start to mine your own coins, or buy some at the exchanges. Currently the coins are still cheap, in a few weeks, when the news and plans for parallel coin have been announced, it will be too late to easily mine or buy parallel coins cheap...

EDIT: meant this ... "Marcetin has, have been mined by him over a period of 13-14 months" - He has those coins because he stuck with the project kept mining, deving, and got DUO back off the ground. Now the coins can function as a Dev Fund, even though they were mined fair and square.

Many Orphans lately in the parallelcoin.info pool... how come?

Fixed, we will see if orphans appear again.

Not sure, I mean my KNC is 100GH/s and it working well as I see, but why orphans appear in series have no idea. I fixed yesterday some cron job script that had issue.
Does anyone else mining on some other pool or solo get orphans like me at http://pool.parallelcoin.info/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks ?
I guess it was because difficulty was low.. now all is fine again....
