Farewell o_e_l_e_o
I got a screenshot from a Paxful user who owe me money showing a payment/withdrawal to my wallet. I am waiting for two days for this payment which is waiting in queue. It is 99% sure that the screenshot is fake.
Did you receive that payment?

On Paxful, you have two options to send your coins to another user.
  • Sending it to their receiving address
  • Sending it by Paxful user.

Send Bitcoin and Tether With Ease Using Paxful Usernames. This feature was launched two years ago.

The sender pretends email verification of this payment is still required and he is in trouble with that (while the screenshot says "in queue" and not "waiting for email verification").
I did not witness too long Withdrawal approval and at the time you wrote your post, it is already two days that are long and strange.

How to Contact Support. In case you need to contact support, you can create your support ticket.

I did use Paxful but that was a very long time ago, so if my memory serves me right:

1. It shouldn't take that long to process (unless they have some technical issues) and then it depends on the bitcoin network.
2. Not as far as I can remember. I believe it's "pending" and not "waiting".
3. Yes, you can activate 2FA using both email and Google authenticator[1].

If you want confirmation from the support, you should probably reach out to them by email. OP hasn't been active for a very long time.

So I want to ask Paxful users/support:
1) How long withdrawals usually take?
2) Is there a "waiting in queue" status?
3) Is there a email verification for withdrawals?

Thank you! This enables me to have evidence for legal action.

Newbie has to read this. Too many SCAMMERS on Paxful, offering THE VERY BEST RATE for your btc, i.e market +10% or even much higher. They will force you to release bitcoin first, then they never pay. Even if they pay through PayPal, your PP account will got chargebacks from them. AVOID Paxful and Localbitcoins. They're all SCAMMERS.

You always have to do your due dillegence when trading on any exchange. Even if you are protected by escrow in paxful in this case. Just because paxful offers escrow doesn't mean that nobody will try to scam you on there.

You should never release your funds before you actually receive payment, and you should avoid dealing with any reversible methods on paxful. And if someone is offering 10% over the spot price for bitcoin, then it's going to be a scam for sure.

No point blaming paxful/localbitcoins, if you see a scammer report it to them. That's all you can do. They're not the ones scamming you.

I have a suggestion regarding cancelling trades. The seller can't do anything and must wait hours sometimes until its canceled by the system even If the buyer is AFK. What would be nice is to add the ability to cancel trades If the buyer don't send any messages. That way, you know for sure that he didn't send funds or gift card code or whatever.

It seems the PR or admin of the site is no longer interested in this thread and it's largely due to the increase in their client base which have ranked them as the third largest peer to peer exchange platform in the world while the growing is still there with expansion to other countries of the world.

The concern I actually have is concerning the high transaction fee which is fixed at 0.0008btc irrespective of the amount being sent and regarded as the miners fee, the question is, are the miners that static that they only focus on one fee alone at all times. This should really be looked at.

I added Paxful to the Cheddur app (https://www.cheddur.com/) via community request! This will allow more people to learn about Paxful and get started. We’ve also linked all of the coins, countries, and apps that Paxful supports / can be legally used in, this way new users can discover Paxful based on the coins they own, where they live, or the devices they use.

If you've used Paxful, don't forget to leave a review! The more popular the service is (via ratings), the higher it will appear in search results and the more likely new users will find it! Smiley

I sent you an email to [email protected] but I still didn't receive any replies while you claim to answer within 24 hours. I contacted you regarding a serial scammer/carder that is selling in your site: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.22070173 (I and other users posted a lot of proof) so I suggest banning him before everyone leaves your platform, the positive trust clearly means nothing because the codes works when you put them but then get chargebacked.

This site is absolutely fantastic if you basically want to buy cheap gift cards.

Yesterday, I bought a $50 Google Play gift card for $28 worth of BTC! First transaction went really smooth, and there's a button in the bottom left which allows you to live chat with an admin whilst the trade is taking place should anything go wrong, which I used just to test the features of the site for my first trade.

Just make sure your code works before releasing your Bitcoin.

Going to try getting my hands on some pretty much half price Amazon gift codes today.

The features and the trading method of this site is very familiar as it's similar to LocalBitcoins, however this is more unregulated than LBTC (and I don't necessarily mean that in a negative way). LBTC is more suited for trading BTC for direct bank deposits (my usual go-to for buying Bitcoin quickly) with very well known traders. Whereas this site is for if you want to do a more specific trade (i.e. my case of Google Play card, and Amazon card) at bargain price.

I hope more people try it out, the more people using it the better. Just keep your wits about you, the help button guy (probably the admin?) did mention there's "quite a lot of scammers". But just use your judgement, there's a feedback system etc.

I like Paxful so far, I'm seller there and I get 5x more sales than on localbitcoins. I think Paxful secured all the traffic from Backpage and desperate bitcoin buyers from there
