Dev care to comment on my earlier post, Why are there coins staking before ICO finished, very unfair for investors.

Coins for ICO 400m yet 427812100 before ICO finished. strange.

I would assume c-cex is staking the coins since they are running the ICO.

I would also assume any coins not sold including the staked coins would get burned.

Maybe that C-cex are staking, but there are over 4m staking over at Poswallet as well.

if you look back over the thread you will see the coin was listed on two exchanges before the ICO was ran

https://www.tradesatoshi.com/Exchange/?market=PIE_BTC
https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_PIE/?re=jyjced7fu5o0wjbrsc8f

Also looking here http://piecoin.thecryptochat.net/network shows you bit more info about the coin.

All of these links are freely available for those who care to look back through the thread.  They just are not shown in the main post where the ICO is advertised, although in my opinion they should be

Ok my bad. I do agree that it should be mentioned in the main op. Not the most transparent of altcoins. So there are 400m at c-cex + more elsewhere. Totaling 427831172.30453736 to date. Thanks for the info.

those 400m on the rich list are staking,
http://piecoin.thecryptochat.net/address/PBuRbnexWbe7pVtZnKcofR1EmmUJa2BxRA

and c-cex does have a history of staking coins.

it's not entirely kosher practice in mine eyes,
you deposit your coins, they stake them, they sell the stake, but they still have the stake they sold, so it keeps on staking.

it may not be Kosher but its most likely one of the main reasons c-cex run ICO's.

They get to hold the coins for 10 days and can stake them for all the time they hold them making the exchange a good amount of extra coins for nothing. (4 million coins staked for 10 days must give a decent staking profit)

They then can still stake those coins after the rest are burned meaning they constantly have a supply to sell which has cost them nothing so anything in pure profit.

conf file is called PieCoin.conf

try the nodes from here,
https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/PIE/

if not work
delete current copy of blockchain in the datadirectory (backup your wallet !!)

if not work
download new copy of client from OP,

Let's PUT IN!
I can make web and android wallet if developer give bounty on them

Android wallet would be great for PIE.

Feel free to PM and discuss.

I am wonder why and how it is possible that poswallet have over 4m staking in the pool before the ICO is over  Undecided

It does seem unfair that dev team is already getting extra reward from POS before the rest of us

http://piecoin.thecryptochat.net/address/PBuRbnexWbe7pVtZnKcofR1EmmUJa2BxRA

Total current supply before ICO finished 427792627.49795187

More information will be added to the OP to reflect answers to questions and to provide more information about how things have been progressing so far.

Any staking rewards up to this point have been allocated for bounties and other rewards. Surplus PIE is used to further development of PIE and related technologies.

PIE that is staking at POSWallet is likely bounty recipients who are now staking. We do not have any PIE in POSWallet.

Please enlighten us some more.  I am a bit confused. What will happen to the PIEs outside of c-cex after the ICO? Will they become unhappy PIES? We really hope not.

According to the block explorer there are ~428M PIE in existence.

400M are available for the ICO at C-CEX.

The other ~28M is used for advancement of PIE. Some has been used some is still in holding for use.

Unsold PIE from the 400M at C-CEX will be burned.

is network dead? Ihave PIES on windows wallet and they have status stake, for 3 days since i have logged in? looks like no activity on network

If you are in staking status that means you connected and have downloaded all of the blocks, the wallet does not stake unless the blockchain is up to date. The network is growing and there is plenty of activity.

Wallet don't sync... Why? Where is nodes?

There are LOTS of nodes. You can see here:
