I actually don't mind some dumpers... I will slurp up some cheap PMP that way.... but believe me, many folks will be holding... this is a nice coin...
Yes, it adds volume and liquidity on the exchange as well as gets coins in the right hands.

If you 'want to dump' you will have to go buy some PMC ( PremineCoin ) from Poloniex, swap it in, then dump...
Otherwise you are better off just staking...
This is true, the only people who will have enough PMP to dump will be the ones who accumulated PMC and swapped them. The rest will only have the same amount of PMP as everyone else. There will be no point in dumping if the coins are worthless (why would you sell your stake if its only worth $2?). So people won't sell until they are valuable. If they are increasing in value, many will continue to hold.

That was a fairly stupid thing to say.
We are not giving away 100% of our funds all at once. We are spreading out the distribution over 6 months.
Unlike most PoW/PoS coins that come out lately, where 100% of the coins are mined within 7 days.
This means 100% of the coins are out there, ready to be dumped within a week.
So do you go around making this comment on those threads as well? of course not, no one does.
The common coin launch encourages dumping 100 times over.
By having such a short distribution window, you end up with a very small handful of people holding a very large percentage of the coin. This is where dumping comes from.
We protect ourselves from this by being smart and only releasing a portion at a time.
As well, we are continually increasing scarcity by carrying forward all names to the following months.
So the first month 800 people sign up, the next month 1600, the next month 2400, etc etc.
Each month everyone gets less and less.

The giveaway lasts for 6 months. 500k PMP are given away during this period. This is about 80k per month. When we have 1000 people in the first month each one gets 80 PMP. A lot of people would have to try to dump to get big sell walls up.
in the first year there is a 50% POS interest for holding the coins too
This may also prevent people from dumping immediately.
