At present, I only see MSR on an exchange, which is not a good thing for the development of the project, I hope to increase the number of exchanges.

Masari is already on three and will be added soon on other exchanges.

OMG this looks like yet another Monero kockoff Cry

Skimming through the info. it looks like Masari's main claim to fame is better scalability than Monero,  But before I decide to get eyestrain plowing through all 57 pages of this thread,  can someone tell me about any real world use case for Masari besides being faster than Monero? Also, wouldn't the planned Monero lightning implementation make this a non-issue?

It's a different solution to the same problem of scalability. Also, if "Monero lightning implementation" has problems, you have another coin that could offer a solution. The use case for Masari would be similar to that of Monero since they are both privacy coins. As for the idea that this is a Monero knockoff, you could have said the same thing to Monero as it was a fork of Bytecoin. Monero added to the cryptospace by adding new technologies and answers to problems. In this way, Masari is following in the footsteps of Monero since it will also add new solutions to problems e.g. uncle mining, WHM algo, block tree sharding, fully client side web wallet, etc. Masari also plans on having a benevolent relationship with Monero and in this way it wants to add to the cryptospace. Monero could choose to implement out fixes/solutions or it could choose not to. Since Monero is a bigger ecosystem, it might be a little harder to do get consensus so that is something worth considering. Masari on the other hand has a smaller group of devs and so it can move quicker to innovate and add things.

If you have any more questions LMK.

Looks cool project, I can now participate in digging and try it, but I need more masari information, possibly this theme..

What kind of information do you need?  Here are some resources:

Guys, I am sorry I had to ask. Is this coin confirmed as NOT a scam?

Please let me know ASAP.

I WANT TO jump in but still skeptical.

Thanks!!

Its not a scam. Its been fairly mined and is open and available to all. What other confirmation do you need? You can go to the subreddit www.reddit.com/r/masari or the Discord https://discord.gg/sMCwMqs for more info.

Thanks very much. Please why is there no white paper?

There will be a draft sometime this year, but since it isn't going to be fluff, it is taking some time. The Git Repo is active and the roadmap from the website gives an idea of what MSR is wanting to achieve.

BazookaJeff wrote; I reached out to TradeSatoshi to see how much it'd be to list us. They were very cordial and had this as a response: "Hi there. Im familiar with Masari and also i like your project we will be happy to have it listed here. Now, we charge a fee to have the coin listed and also we are getting a bit strict with the requirements; We charge 1.5 BTC for listing, if you find the fee over your budget then we just want a donation, what it means it can be anything. And regarding the requirements, we ask a valid block explorer, website social media account and a continuing developing of the coin, we dont care much about the volume. The process to list the coin depends on the fee, if you pay the full 1.5 btc then we will integrate in 7 days, if is the fee is less then the listing will take a little longer. Let me know what you will do. Regards"  Why nobady is updating such a good news! Tradesatoshi may be a next game changer after TradeOrge, this is a very important news for all Masari investors!!!

I reached out to them again. They responded by letting me know that they would be "listing us in 1 or 2 weeks time." They are awesome for this Smiley

Tradesatoshi may be a next game changer

I really doubt it. Tradesatoshi has low daily volume. It didn't do much good to btcz for example.

+1 here. Tradesatoshi not really worth it, only if they list us for free.

this coin used to run Cryptonight then they copied Monero's new Cryptonight V7

so? The goal was to remain compatible with the Monero mining ecosystem
