In celebration of the v5 fork we've added Masari to our community pool site:

There's no better time than now to join your small neighborhood friendly mining pool! We'd be delighted if you were to help get this off the ground.

I had the problem that the v0.2.0.2 masari-wallet-cli would simply not recognize the wallet files from v0.1.4.0 as if there is no backward compatibility.
You input the wallet password and get some error: "Error: failed to load wallet: std::bad_alloc"

So I used --restore-deterministic-wallet and entered the seed from the old wallet, but... attention... it will then ask you for something like a seed encryption pasphrase. If you enter one, it will generate a completely new seed with a new address, i.e. a new wallter, not your old wallet. I don't remember if this seed encryption passphrase was there in previous versions, well at least I didn't use it. So I had to restore again, this time leaving that seed encryption passphrase blank and so it finally restored my old address, i.e. exactly my old wallet.

That's on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Not tried the Windows or MacOS version.

What's up with the new windows CLI binaries. Brazen Badger seems to have issues every time I open it. I'm getting wierd symbols where letters are supposed to be.

Once the language is set I'm getting this error aswell.

The daemon seems to working fine however. Anyone else seeings these errors?

When is the fork scheduled ? Do i need to withdraw all my MSR from Exchanges ?

SouthXChange and TradeOgre are aware of the fork, so they should be fine there. I'm not sure of Stocks.Exchange (someone please chime in). You're MSR should be safe in your wallet so long as you have the seed.

Thank you sir, you are too kind.

All of you Monero lovers great news. Masari and Monero paired on a new exchange. Masari also paired with Bitcoin too on the same exchange. This is a new exchange though. Does anyone have any information about it's legitimacy?

I hope this exchange grows well! A pair MSR/XMR is a great deal for privacy

Added to the Scam exchange, now the funds are lost. As they are now to compensate???

how do you treat coins that are involved in the scheme and are proud of the exchange without checking what they are going for?
accordingly, the coin is the same, the loss of 2 thousand $. Success in selling tales and mugs.

Do you notice that it's only you spewing out dumb accusations (and crossposting them in several threads), while everyone else had a brain, went to twitter and saw that TradeOgre was under DDOS attack in the past 24h and was working on implementing CloudFlare.

@Masarians: TradeOgre just came back. Happy trading.

Any possibility this coin will get listed on a bigger exchange?
Not too soon I'm sure. But tradeorge is doing a great job now. Before I stuck only to soutchexchange but now I see that tradeorge has 10 times more volume.  Of course bigger exchange would be much better , coin would grow significantly but I dont think it is so ease to do. It cost a lot and who is gonna pay for it if there was no ICO or initial premine to cover such a costs? As a matter of fact, We may never see such thing like bigger exchanges..

What are the options to buy large amounts of Masari besides current Exchanges ?

Obviously OTC. But if you don't know the seller personally and the seller therefore doesn't trust you, you will need an escrow which both trust. Too much hassle. Unless you happen to live nearby and meet in person of course. Very unlikely.
Buy on an exchange. If you don't trust the exchange, buy in small amounts and therefore never have a large amount of liquidity on the exchange at any time.

With a little patience you can accumulate interesting amounts on Tradeogre.
