This project presented good initiative but the only problem i have with the project has to do with how transactions are made on their wallet. newbies will also have difficulty and issues sending and receiving funds. The team should do something about this. If not, it will discourage people from using the veil coin..
That's right. The project is great, very interesting and promising with advanced technologies, but handling the wallet is too complicated. I agree that it repels people.

Yes, the company seems to be very active in terms of their developments, but my only concern is the value of VEIL coin is not increasing its price. This makes me keep on holding the coins which I am not getting good values through staking. We need to buy a higher amount of veil in order to get a high amount of tokens through staking.

I keep reading about VEIL project from some time and have a question about the review which was or should be made by the PROOF OF REVIEW service.

In the Op is clearly written that:

PROOF OF REVIEW service provide a full list of available reviews and I can't find VEIL between them.

Where to find this VEIL review?

True that even I'm not able to find the review for VEIL on the proof of review website but their twitter handle clearly has a tweet for the same. So, I guess, it's better if we ask proof of review website for it.

And why do I need this whole long list Huh Angry
If you know then write what exactly I need to write to the console.
Hello Syndrome. The command you use may change depending on what balance type you are sending from, and what address you are sending it to. To send to Vinex you would be looking at sending to a basecoin address (starts with "bv1") which is what most exchanges use.

Note: If you are not sending zerocoin veil, the transaction will incur a small fee, so please account for that when specifying an amount to send. Sending zerocoin veil to any address will not incur a fee.

Here is a list of commands specifically for sending veil:

About how much VEIL is required to stake once a day?

16kVeil (1x10000, 6x1000). So for a stake a day you'd be needing about 18-20kVeil

That hasn't been the case for me the past 2 months. I have seen others report similar problems. I have more than enough for 1 stake a day yet only receive stakes about 1 time every 4 days.
The average changes over time as the staking difficultly increases. Currently, the rough estimate is around 40,000 veil for an average of 1 stake per day.

Ok this makes more sense.

Unbelievably, the sync was stuck again:

You know, the same thing was with my wallet after last updates and then all of it gone when I added extra nodes to config file according to guidence found on that official page devoted to v 1.0.4.4 sync. List of peers I have added is on that page.

The fixes to the August 2019 Zerocoin attack on Veil have been successfully implemented. We outline the course of events, the outcome, and details on the latest wallet releases in this article.

You can try this solution:

1. Go to Settings > Advanced options > Console > and type in command getbestblockhash
2. Copy the result that the wallet gives you.
3. Paste that result into this command: reconsiderblock PASTERESULTHERE

I tried this and it helped temporarily. Now the height is stuck at 348107.

If the solution above does not work, we would recommend that if you are in the process of syncing prior to block 337000, to use a snapshot.
We've received reports that the veil.tools snapshots are working again, so for those who are in need of snapshot file, you can take the file from there.

I tried this and it helped temporarily. Now the height is stuck at 347607.

It is also recommended to update to the newest wallet release for the latest improvements and fixes.

I already use this version wallet.

I don't see any point in buying a Veil if the wallet doesn't work. I bought them in vain. Staking never ends because there are constantly some sync breaks.

The wallet is a bit of a resourcer eater, it might be your system that is not allowing the wallet to sync and mint properly.

Maybe post the specs of the system you are using. Devs already mentioned in the past they are working on making the wallet more efficient at processing and creating blocks.

Veil does use several protocols communicating with each other in order to create the anonymous transactions, it's not easy getting them all to play nice with each other.

Veil wallet is a joke for my computer . These are the specifications (OS is Windows 10, 64 bit):
