if anyone asks (as I recently did) why the progress bar suddenly shows less than last week. Here is an explanation from the telegram channel:

Quote
294 figure was a pre sale amount for a special discount. Now the pre sale investors are going through KYC and transferring funds into the contract.
They have a week to do this so as not to loose their special discount

Thanks for sharing, myself and I'm sure many others can learn better by watching as opposed to reading. The only thing I would like to see/hear is that background music turned down a bit, I found it distracting at times.

That's a fact. Visuals speaks better and sticks longer than text and it gives better understanding of what is been spoken of.. I hope they keep releasing more videos frequently.

The video was a bit educating to me and i myself enjoy watching videos to reading, it tends to stick faster to my memory and also there is this feeling to it.

I wouldn't say thesame I prefer reading to videos,  I easily get bored when watching videos but For the benefit of others I would advice of of such videos. So that everyone can be carried along.

Well we can't all like same things for me I prefer videos to reading. I like that it's a short video but contains lots of info, it was well detailed and educating thanks for sharing

Videos do reach out better I find to some people, as mentioned above - some people can't be bothered to read long boring whitepapers or articles anymore - so it's great to see more video orientated resources

True that but I think if you are to invest a good sum of money you will have to do that. I know majority just base their decisions on several criteria like the hard cap and the exchanges and the team and not much consideration to how it might work? It is great that they are using various methods to deliver the idea across

You are right, mate. Before I will invest a bunch of money in a project, you have to do your own research. But I like those short videos for a first overview.

Quite an interesting video to watch, simple, clear and concise, I think this is one of the much needed move we so look forward to in the loan industry where I don't necessarily have to go to those around my social group to get loans

I recommend this video to anyone reading to watch, it captures Loansbay concept beautifully

Good that LendsBay team have created video and shared it over YouTube. Reading Whitepaper is very time consuming, so such video at start is nice.

Ya I seriously hate the monotony of going through white papers to go through and find good projects I think doing videos in different styles and lengths that explain different aspects is the best way to explain things and also to get attention good on them formworking on videos

Every good project will have introductory video of the project. YouTube have very good user base and that's one of the best way of marketing. It's nice that LendsBay team understands the importance of videos.

Yeah. I don't actually like reading, i usually go and look for videos made for the project and watch to better understand the project. But sometimes i have no choice but to read the whitepaper. I prefer videos to reading.
I agree with you in videos you can explain a lot of things in a small fun to watch video i have seen a lot of ico's do that and LendsBay could achieve a lot with those amazing amount of followers on their YouTube channel

There is a lack in the general credit/loan arena which the blockchain according to the whitepaper seems to solve quite well. I think the trickiest part would be the  KYC of participants.

Yea, i don't think i've seen any credible loan facility that is based on the blockchain industry at the moment, i may be wrong though, heard of a few but can't say that they are doing good, so i believe this project has a role to play at the moment, we all want to acquire things like a house, car etc but getting the needed avenue to make such happen in terms of loans is an issue, so i see this has a problem solving concept

Oh yes, if just every project manager understood how important is to demostrate the user as creative content as it's possible from their team. I'm glad how Lendsbay managed with this task.

250k softcap at the pre-ico sounds very good for me. But a softcap of 10mio for the whole ICO? don't you think that's a little bit high?
and how high is the hardcap?

I read the whitepaper. There is a table there with amount of tokens being sold during every stage of ICO and price for a token. Here are my calculations:

Pre-ICO:
860 000 * $0.25 (presale) +
780 000 * $0.27 (week 1) +
740 000 * $0.29 (week 2) +
700 000 * $0.31 (week 3) +
670 000 * $0.32 (week 4) +
640 000 * $0.33 (week 5) +
610 000 * $0.35 (week 6) = $1 496 300

ICO:
27 000 000 * $0.37 (stage 1) +
23 000 000 * $0.43 (stage 2) +
20 000 000 * $0.50 (stage 3) = $9 990 000 + $9 890 000 + $10 000 000 = $119 770 000.

So the full token supply is $121 266 300. Can we call this the hardcap?

This is a big calculation mistake. 9.9+9.9+10 = 30 mil. Hardcap is 30 mil. Not sure how you end up in 119 mil.

Better, when I first saw 119 m I was shocked it really huge. My question then was how the hell are they gonna make that but 30 m is very reasonable and achievable

I have not seen any ICO keeping that much (100+ mil) high hardcap. 30 million is reasonable for any project. Softcap is just 250k?

Lol i also didn't bother to talk about the calculations, when i first saw it i said to me self what's this? lol but now the corrected cap is quite reasonable and i think they could realize it with aggressive marketing

Yeah everyone has their own preferences of course, so probably the best approach is to try and cover all bases. Videos and Articles, which they have so that's a positive.
